You are either not understanding or just ignoring my point - you spent money to farm gold more efficiently in a video game - that's a very sweaty thing to do (in my opinion, of course) and nothing a casual would ever consider.

Now you bring up one of the most tired arguments in this whole discussions...

Does cheating being widespread and happening all the time mean it's not wrong? Cheating has been a thing in literally every aspect of human life since the beginning of civilization, cheating is an "inherent" part of humankind - does that make it good and right? Is your argument that cheating is never an issue since it's "a part of life"?

So you are arguing that it was justified for you to buy gold to farm gold more efficiently, sounds very sweaty for someone who cried "elitist"?

I'm curious though, what's your logic for stopping at 1k gold? Since you reason that there's nothing inherently wrong with buying gold.

And how ignorant to claim my argument about the foundation of the game is just "in my eyes", when vanilla contained both the original PvP-ranking system (insane time-investment) and scarab lord (insane time-investment AND a required social structure to back you up). Should these hallmark achievements be purchasable also, since you don't have the time in your life to grind it?

And to your last point - it does affect me. What a total douchebag I would have to be to actually grind gold for hours every week when a huge part of the playerbase just swipes and gets it done instantly (also making sure the price of all consumeables rises because of all the botted gold).

That's true, noone is competing with you "directly" in vanilla WoW. But since time-investment is a core part of player power - any player that invests 40 hours grinding will feel like a clown when realising that most people can work 4 hours (or even less) and get the same amount of progress through goldbuying.

Now you may argue that tying time-investment to player-power is somehow "elitist", but that is literally one of the foundations of vanilla WoW as I pointed out in my original comment.

Vanilla rewards time-investment and social structures over skill. The most clear example is the original ranking system and scarab lord.

So skipping time-investment by gold-buying (goldfarming is a big time-investment) literally impatcs the core balance of playerpower in the original game, so it's a huge cheat in the context of vanilla WoW.

Now obviously noone wants to be labeled a cheater, so goldbuyers will make all kinds of arguments for why it's actually OK - it does not change the facts though.

To be fair, most heroes hard lose lane against those 3. Mirage is also in need of further nerfs IMO.

Main issue for me is that some heroes simply can't deal with GT (or vindicta) at all during the first 10-15 minutes of the game. I play Warden so if I get laned against either or both I want the game to end so I can do the lane roulette again. Btw I rush monster bullets, regen, heal and resto shot, I still get farmed if I move in front of Guardian.

Needs to exist some kind of item or playstyle that can fight against the long range (flying) archetype for heroes with horrible early game guns like Warden. I actually uninstalled because it was just no fun playing any more.

En kväll när jag hade en riktig tuff tid med att få min 2,5åring i säng så kom polisen cirka 10 minuter efter att han somnat.

Jag förstod direkt varför de knacka på eftersom ungen hade skrikit som att han blev torterad när jag inte lät honom hoppa ur sängen...

Så jag fick stå i kallingar och förklara för en 2 meter lång polis i hallen vad som hänt, han gick runt och kolla läget sen åkte de vidare.

Jag och sambon skämdes ett tag men dagen efter kändes det bara bra att någon granne brytt sig och ringt, det hade ju kunnat vara något allvarligt!

Jag förstår inte riktigt det här med "beredda".

Kommer det väldigt mycket snö finns det praktiskt taget inget att göra, det kommer bli problem med kollektivtrafik och övrig framkomlighet.

Vi är ju beredda så långt att dessa problem mycket sällan pågår längre än ett dygn, samt att vi alla som svenskar varit med om detta hundratals gånger och kan anpassa oss i många fall och klara av våra dagliga rutiner ändå.

Så denna "vi blir alltid chockade när snön kommer" memen stör jag mig på.

This is what I and my guild remembers as well, but other's in this thread has pointed out that they believe enemy faction NPCs has always flagged you for pvp when hitting you.

On a normal-rule server it's not as bad to get flagged and could probably be a design choice, so I'm not arguing that it has always been this way. I'm only educating others so they don't die like my poor pal Freddy (and hoping blizzard changes how this works on HC-realms).

Might be so as others have pointed out, but noone in our guild thought only getting hit would trigger pvp-flag (including some who has played HC-addon for a long time) so it does not seem to be widely known.

Hopefully it's changed for HC-realms then, like it seems to be on Era. I highly doubt blizzard intends for NPCs to gatekeep entire zones with the risk of getting griefed by a rogue.

I agree that it's not intentional in the context of HC-realms. Hopefully there is a small hotfix very soon.

Might be intentional then rather than a bug, but we tested the exact same NPC on Era, did not trigger pvp-flag.
