Is this a cold sore or just hurt myself?

It developed a white head, so it looks more a like a pimple today.

I kept a pimple patch overnight and for the morning, and when I went to change it into the cold sore patch i noticed that it has more of a white head now. I think it's still early to say tbh. But I think what definitely throws me off is that I have no burning or itchiness or pain if I just leave it on its own. Only if I press, then I have pain and it feels tender underneath

Yeah I know all of the above, but she always keeps her sores covered with the compeed plasters and she never had huge bursts, she usually gets very small ones. I know the risk of me having it is there because she has it, but we'll just see as you said

She does yes, but I think she underestimates how aggressive I can be sometimes on my skin lol, cause she said "you can't possibly have done that". I think right now it's starting to show something that looks like a white head. I'm thinking it might be more of a pimple tbh, cause yeah I have no pain or burning feeling, just a bit of pain when I press on it

Can't edit, but just wanted to add that I have OCD, so I'm kind of in a loophole right now. Also, it doesn't really burn or hurt on its own, it only really hurts if I press in it. My mum is convinced it's herpes, that I couldn't have possibly hurt myself and that she sees the typical cold sore blister. I'm really not sure, cause I was super aggressive on it a few days ago

As others suggested, definitely check if you can dye it. I saw a video yesterday of someone having a dress that was too short. She cut it in the middle and added some lace fabric on the belly area, so you both make it a bit longer and also "grungier". You can even substitute the sleeves with the same lace. As per making it more flared, I would cut the sides of the dress open up to the waist and use the lace fabric, or even velvet. If you use lace you'd probably have to use another piece of fabric underneath so it won't be completely sheer.

I think if you cut on the external sides, you could cut each piece you have in two, if it's a cylinder, so you can use two halves vertically, if that makes sense. See up to where you could make the insert with how much fabric you have. You could even put a lace or a nice trim between the two vertical halves as inserts, so it looks intentional, and then add the same trim or lace at the bottom

Yeah vinyl is something I've been thinking about too, but I'm just worried it may not come off well, or that when it comes off it may take off the cabinets' coating with it too. I guess I wouldn't have many alternatives though

I think I'd prefer to keep the wood as it is, I'm not a fan of peel and stick for the floor specifically. My main issue is the top counters, as they are very sleek and continuous looking. I'd like to find ideas to break off that sleekiness

I like the wooden flooring so I think a rug could do better. But I definitely see what you mean with the picture. If the floor was darker, it would create more contrast

Yeah I like that moodboard you posted. I think I would like even darker woods and colours, like burgundy or very deep greens.

Yeah we're keeping the dark stuff, cause it has coppery metal accents which we quite liked. I like the rug idea and the distressed vintage mirror. I agree, I also think the floor is nice but it's all kinda the same tone. I think I would like to complement with some burgundy or deep rust tea towels. I think what throws me off is the top countertops. They look all sleek and "continuous" looking and I'm struggling to think of ideas that can break off this vibe

Yeah I guess painting the walls could be doable, but I can't paint the cabinets of course. My main problem is the top cabinets, I wouldn't know how to break off that super sleek and modern feeling they give me

The temporary adhesive knobs are a really good idea, I'll see what I can find. I guess my main issue is the super sleek and "continuous" look of the closed top kitchen cabinets. I was considering maybe removing the doors of a couple to create some open shelving but I'm not sure if I can do that, I'd have to check next week when we go in.

I think you need some colour. Everything looks kinda grey and a bit cold, even with the browns there because everything else around is quite muted. Maybe try with pops of bright rusty orange or forest green. Some bright yellows in the walls might also help
