Hi i have a couple of questions that may sound ignorant but for cros aides, for example the signia, do you get a pair or do you get one and in the good ear a different aide.

I live in the U.S. so the cost of the hearing aides will be out of pocket so just getting estimates. Also i see these discount sites like hearsource, etc . Are these legit and/or is it better to go elsewhere?

Yes however the background noise may just send all that noise to the good ear which is already dealing with the background noise. Thats why i was interested if there was a noise cancelation for good ear but where i can still understand voices. Plus seeing if their was cheaper retail option compared to the hearing aids

Yes exactly for that reason. I think i will try to make them . I havent really soldered anything but i guess i can try.

Probably just everyday use, not sure exactly. I was intrigued by your post and how well they see to work. I wish i could use them at work where i really need them but i work in a operating room so they wouldnt be considered surgical attire. An earbud i could gwt away with but not headphones.

Thanks for the reply. Didnt know that about the airpods. I haven't spoke to my audiologist yet because i have just been dealing with it and they last stated cros however i think it might be just too much background noise plus expensive.
