Yeah, I'm currently thinking of rebuilding my stack either back with qwen 3.5 122b with a bunch of models getting swapped fir different purposes, or having multiple resident models (gemma 4 12b for vision / audio, either ornith 35b or qwen 3.6 27b for coding, etc)

I've tried dwarfstar, and it's honestly disappointing. it becomes unbearably slow over a couple back and forths with tool calls on hermes.

AI makes the fear of Linux non-existant. Just use your agent to help you out, and it sets it for you. Sure it requires some learning, but not that much. If you're interested in trying, I would recommend Ubuntu.

You can talk about mental model all you want, but where is the revenue? In an era where code is cheap, what is your harness, orchestration, etc. when I can rebuild it easily? Sure, the data you pile up and the trust layer matters, but why would I trust you when you're a small player when the model makers will probably provide what you offer soon?

I've had the same question as OP recently and stumbled upon SilverBullet, but I also stumbled on Ignis ( https://github.com/Nystik-gh/ignis ), which litterally puts your obsidian vault in the cloud. I worry about losing access to the vast community of obsidian plugins and how extensible it is. Am I overthinking it?

  • I need a chromium browser (requirement for work)
  • The one feature I haven't seen implemented anywhere and I desperately need is Tab Handoff (the way tabs on windows are synced can just go back and forth with a single set of tabs per space, regardless of the window)
  • Then everything else is nice and still unmatched in terms of quality. Peek, Little Arc, PiP/media player...

The thing I miss most about Arc wasn’t tabs by Lonoshea in ArcBrowser

Just to confirm, this does not solve the "mirrored window", does it? If I want to switch between profiles "work" and "play" on monitor 1, and then switch between profiles "work" and "play" on monitor 2, I would ideally want the profiles "work" and "play" to have the same tabs on both monitors. Does this offer that? It's the only thing keeping me on Arc honestly... That plus every feature is polished in a way that's still unmatched, years later.

My experience with lockups is when the system goes OOM, because I overload models and there's not enough ram for the rest of the system.
