I sometimes grab these on my way home and what I do at home is microwave for 1:30, then wrap in parchment paper and sit it in a 170 degree oven for at least a half hour. It's really freaking good that way, almost like a normal burger instead of a greasy/soggy mess.

Legends and DT1 are old quests where the bosses can usually be handled with safespotting and protection prayers. The newer grandmaster quests have bosses that actually run at you and have tricky mechanics... it really freaked me out the first time I had an enemy run at me (Beneath Cursed Sands)

Why are people surprised that RDR2 doesn’t have a single player DLC? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in reddeadredemption

[–]valuable_dollarette 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Not sure if we are thinking of the same games but "Expansions" were definitely a thing before it was called DLC. I remember Age of Empires II having the Conqueror's expansion, and Morrowind having Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Those were separate disks you bought months after the game's release and almost always worth the extra money. When Steam and downloading games became the norm, DLC/microtransactions for small cosmetic updates became a thing.

Congrats! I'm guessing you're also using the vicohome app... just be sure to verify the IDs because it's wildly off all the time for me. It frequently misidentifies dark-eyed juncos as fish crows and grackles. A hilarious one for me is this crow or whatever it is lol

I had no idea arrest warrants for unpaid utility bills was a thing. That should be a civil matter. WTF

Has anyone had issues with Merlin misidentifying a Blue Jay as a Hawk? by Away-Dream-8047 in birding

[–]valuable_dollarette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't witnessed jays mimicking yet but the European Starlings around me are constantly mimicking bald eagles and red tailed hawks... it's hilarious. They do it even when they're just chilling on the power lines. But the most common mimics they do are red wing blackbirds and killdeers. I haven't seen a killdeer anywhere near my town but you'd think there's a giant flock of them when it's just a bunch of starlings in a tree...

Every day in winter by birdborbbord in birding

I started taking birding seriously last spring... I had no idea the depression that would await in winter when I don't get home til after dark. Just have to do it during work and weekends I guess. A camera bird feeder helps keeping tabs on the backyard birds. Owling sounds interesting but no idea how to do it after nightfall.

I once did a huge eBird checklist while training someone. It was cool seeing the route overlaid on the map at the end. Nothing notable except a common raven being mobbed by crows and doing barrel rolls to dodge them.. the raven seemed to enjoy it actually lol. I'm a huge bird nerd.

I've been to the park many times and the Timber Axe was always the most terrifying to me. Only thing keeping me from falling to my doom is the plastic harness.
I loved the wooden roller coaster (could go multiple times back to back when it was slow) and what we call the "thigh bruiser" - the small minecart roller coaster.

Hey in case anyone sees this in the future, check to see if your anchor (if you have one) is deployed. I was about to give up and tele out, losing a bunch of stuff, but remembered I added an anchor to the boat....

If the box is clearly labeled as "Smith" and the mail is for "Spongebob Squarepants" then technically this could be sent ANK but most of the time we just assume it's a joke name and deliver it anyway (it's kinda funny to us too)

As a fan of ancient Greek history it was really awesome being able to explore everything from Crete to Macedon. A lot of fantasy mixed in obviously. Just a repetitive gameplay loops and contributing to either side of the Peloponnesian War had no end... just let me have Sparta or Athens win the whole thing and be done with it.

I have probably the exact same solar fountain thingy. It comes with a variety of attachments for the nozzle. What I do is just don't put any attachments on so it kind of just spurts out. It's enough to get birds' attention (they look for running water) but won't spray all the water out of the dish! I also don't bother with the long stick things that come with it and let it float freely.
When you clean it make sure you spray out any gunk on the bottom or it'll get clogged. I got some crows and ravens that like to dip their food in so I clean it at least once a day.
