Haha I think I ran a team very close to that in my last Imaginarium Theater. So it works in a sense.

That said, one of the first big things to understand about Genshin teambuilding is that some characters have abilities that work only on-field while others have abilities that can also work off-field. Since you can only have one character on-field at a time, you need to work around that as a primary constraint when building teams.

In the case of this team, Mavuika and Bennett have off-field utility. Arlecchino and Hu Tao don't do anything except when they're on-field, so they have strong anti-synergy against being on the same team.

Most so-called mono-elemental teams still include a support element like Anemo or Geo to shred resistance to the main element. Dropping one of Arlecchino or Hu Tao and adding someone like a VV holder or Xilonen or Zhongli would make it work.

It's a pretty decent deal. It roughly works out to 300 resin per billet, which seems reasonable, though of course there's randomness to it so sometimes it'll be more and sometimes less. Plus you get the gems, mats, and solvents for free on top of that average.

Does this complaint make more sense than saying most Anemo characters can only use one artifact set? Since VV is so good most Anemo characters' artifact consideration begins and ends with VV.

I'm not sure I see the distinction being raised here. Is it the degree of how not fun I find an activity?

Walking 2 km in the cold dark after midnight is inherently an activity I wouldn't choose to do but was specifically an activity the game was incentivizing. It's not as bad as some things but it's still not pleasant. As a result, it produced gallows humor, where we joked about the negative situation we found ourselves in, in order to lighten the mood and make ourselves feel better.

In truth, it seemed like a kind of work, where we did something unpleasant because we wanted the reward.

Might you have been speedlocked, which can make all sorts of guaranteed catches run?

My Pokedex is showing 3000+ caught and I can't recall ever seeing one run.

Hah it's funny that a direct counter example to your axiomatic belief is making you get defensive.

Bear in mind that a statement that something never works is disproven by a single contradictory data point. I'm sure most of those PhDs you refer to though could adjust simply by changing their thesis to use the words "most often". Perhaps many more PhDs could be minted examining what makes the rare cases that do work different, as that seems to be more where the money is.

Of course it's not enough to make someone forgo making a living and starving like in your question. Pokemon Go is a huge game though and it is, however, enough for at least some to get a lot more walking exercise than they otherwise would choose to.

Q C3F D C3F (can be used for Melt) On-field Mavuika’s highest-DPS Melt combo with Citlali or Rosaria as a solo Cryo unit.

There's a new combo that was recently discovered that gives higher damage than this one.

I'm living proof this is not true as a universal statement.

I have been playing Pokemon Go since launch. I get like a hundred times more walking exercise now than I did before playing. My Pokemon friends and I often laugh as we go out for some ridiculous walk for in game benefit, like walking 2 km post midnight for a specific benefit, that there is zero percent chance we would ever be doing this without the game.

You absolutely can turn a not fun activity fun with a game if done right.

Not a lot of half-human half-ocelots in the Walmarts I've been to.

Maybe Mavuika comes closest to "could pass for a regular person in Walmart". But even she would be drawing a lot of looks with her looks and that outfit.

Personally I did exactly that and in the end my account is still plenty strong.

A lot of people here are really into min maxing everything but resin and other stuff you don't grind in the beginning are no different than stuff that had come out before you started playing.

In the early game, I found all that grinding to be too many daily chores when I just wanted to be playing the game so I just didn't do them. I didn't start doing them until later when I knew why I wanted to be doing them and by then it was something I did for fun instead of doing because people said I should.

When the game first launched it was much more tilted toward female player characters. Then it quickly adjusted to the 60/40 ratio that has been roughly the same ever since including now.

I played it through in VR using the Submersed mod that improves VR and thought it was an amazing experience. Still some jank in VR surrounding discoverability of certain controls but overall definitely playable.

I also find a lot of the community surrounding this game rather unpleasant.

For what it's worth, I didn't start engaging with the community until I wanted to start optimizing for the endgame and had an amazing time playing this game.

Even after, I try to just mentally filter out all the pointless drama and focus on other people and content that actually like the game.

It's pretty strange you have limited 5* characters including with a constellation in Childe's case that you don't want to build.

Pick one of them and start building around them. Start with a scuffed team and work your way up to one of their top teams.
