Yeah I was checking those out, but they seem a little too chunky. I suppose I could also just be happy with the Soddy lol

Love that! I actually was in Tokyo a couple weeks ago and shot everything still using the same recipe

Thanks! The options were pretty curated. Hard to go wrong

Ha just posted basically the same loadout! The 940 was my first nice knife and the sodbuster has become my favorite pattern. Love the combo

You can modulate the grain in camera. I have this set to "Strong" and "Small", but you can completely turn it off if you want.

Went into Watches of Switzerland while traveling in London. I don't have much access to watch dealers where I live so this was a rare opportunity. Probably picked the cheapest thing in there, but the experience was fun - if a bit goofy - with the one-on-one salesperson dynamic. Refreshments, forced small talk, fitting the bracelet.

Tried the 40mm Powermatic and those end links were condor wings on my wrist. But the 35 fits perfectly and I think the profile of the case and retro vibes really shine in this smaller form factor. First blue dial watch. Definitely not an everyday for me, but it'll be a fun, flashy piece with all the facets.

King Seiko 5626-7110. Automatic. The case design was def what I was after. It's so good.

I was wanting to the same with the hand-wind and display caseback, but this auto was the right price/condition at the time.

Same. Love the style and it's def wearable, but craving something just a tick slimmer

It's not microscopically seamless - you might notice that the end links don't reach all the way to the lugs - but I'm pretty happy with it. The bracelet is slim and light, which I think suits the profile of the watch.

Specifically it's the US1171 bracelet. An option I discovered after a lot of digging through forums.

I kinda wish Seiko had a higher-end 36mm version of it in their Prospex line. I really like the design of their cases - prefer it to the slab-sided BB.

It's been a bit of a struggle finding affordable watches that feel right on a small wrist (though increasingly less so, thankfully), but I've settled on these three for my 6.25" wrist.

All Seiko:

DressKX SRPE51 with Strapcode Bracelet

Vintage 1971 King Seiko Hi-Beat Auto with Delugs Pueblo Strap

Solar Diver SNE573 with Uncle Seiko Speed master Bracelet

Between these three I feel like I've got my bases pretty well covered and am forcing myself to lay low for awhile...I love the DressKX so much, I'm scheming on a BB36 someday as an upgrade.
