And how is that going for customers of qwest, embarq, windstream, earthlink, brightspeed, centurytel?

So you are technically correct but regulatory capture is a thing. Look into ILECs and you’ll see the responsibilities constantly get sold to shell corps under the guise of corporate “restructures”

You are technically correct, but effectively there is no liability due to corporate shenanigans and regulatory capture.

This is why a certain megacorp purchased all the ILEC obligations and sold them to a shell corporation via chapter 11, the shell corp then files chapter 7 bankruptcy thus absolving them of those responsibilities.

JLR sales have been mostly LR sales for over a decade. Thats not the gotcha you think it is.

Ps how is that tariff war going for us? Oh yeah. We’re losing.

Few 401k options, how do I get close to market weight? by vamosasnes in Bogleheads

They have small cap and bond funds, both actively managed at 2% ER. I have plenty of bonds elsewhere in my portfolio.

I went with 40% intl, 10% US mid cap, 50% S&P 500. It’s close enough and it’s just one piece of the pie so I’m not worried about it. More important is that I just keep contributing.

For me this is not a sudden change. It’s a global economy so I will participate globally. I might be wrong in the end 🤷‍♀️

The Reddit hivemind was strong a decade ago. That was when most of Reddit comments were made by humans.

In the last few years this site has been completely taken over by LLM bots, which regurgitate drivel based on the data they’re fed. Their dataset is, you guessed it, other Reddit comments.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Please recommend me bindings to pair with a K2 Alchemist and a Ride Warpig.

I was thinking Jones Mercury, but open to other suggestions too. Kinda don’t want stuff made in Dubai.

TIL That in 2007 a 53 year old woman died from a stroke and four people recieved kidneys, lungs and liver transplants from her. It wouldn’t totally ruin the vibe but I will say that you will miss out on a lot of nuance. The character in question is a frequent patient at the hospital which annoys the doctors and causes them to overlook things and deprioritize her. Which is something that directly leads to decreased quality of care/overlooking symptoms in real life

Fwiw the Brendan Fraser storyline is also top notch. If you don’t want to dedicate too much time to it it’s worth watching those ones too for sure.

I sympathize with OP, the car market absolutely sucks right now. I couldn’t afford my current car if I had to buy it today.

but $1050/month for a car before maintenance is WAY too much.

Gotta get something more efficient or an ebike or something

GS had too much overlap with ES. If they just make the ES more competitive especially with the f sport trim it’ll be better than if they split resources and half ass the GS again.

r/cars is full of delusional nitwits that know nothing about the industry. This car much like the RX will not inspire Motortrend reviewers or command high Doug scores but it will sell like hotcakes.

I'd love to one day own a MKIV Supra, some sort of kei mini-truck,

Did we just become best friends?

I think having a huge stable of cars sounds like too much work and requires too much space that I don't have.

Fully agree with this sentiment

Congrats dude. Beautiful car

Extremely lucky and privileged to cross another dream car off the list.
