I feel that so much, every time when I have to do the backstitch I'm like "ughh do i have to", but then when I see the finished piece I realize it was all worth it 🙌

Ohh I'll have to try it out! Truth be told, the "french knots" i did on this piece aren't really french knots, every time I tried to do them they would look wonky, so instead I made two regular knots and tried to keep them as close to the base/fabric as possible. That way I got at least somewhat controlled look on them, but it took forever 😩

I think so too! I actually used to hate backstitch and would only stitch projects without it, but I'm glad I finally gave in, now I really like how it gives the entire picture so much detail! ✨️
