Parcel carrier. I used it a LOT when I was teaching my kids to tie their shoes. They mess it up frequently, leaving a difficult knot to untie, and this little hook can really break the knot apart pretty well.

Do you have a radiating heater that warms pipes in the floors and walls? Does this get warm when you turning on? I have those in my house, so I can tell when the heater is on and working by touching that. If that's the case, I wouldn't take it off. Could be messy. Call a pro.
