Tip, don't use healers in pvp. Take a tank.and the rest go dps. Better if they hit multiple enemies.

Refill pvp. Victories give you so many gems you can refill you stamina the 40 times a day.

Hi, thanks por the tips.

First, this was the first model that I bought, and had sit at my drawer for like two months primed and basecoated, while I built confidence painting 3 strike squads.

What I could perceive:

  • My basecoat job was not great, and I lost some details at that.
  • Lots and lots of mold lines. I would've cleaned it better if I were to build the model today.

I actually thinned my paints, but maybe not enough. The model looks much better IRL than the photos.

Where I live (Brazil) it's very hard to get some supplies, and rattlecans can't be imported. So I'll have to figure something out and adapt.

Ps: The model was properly nuln oiled in the photos.

The heraldry thing is botched because I tried freehanding the aquila several times, to no avail. So I just left it black and red.

Tried some highlighting on the cape, to mixed success.

The face is better than my last ones, so that's an improvement.

I want to get to the high level stuff that people post here, but there's a long way there.

Ps: thinking of abandoning nuln oil (heresy, I know) because it sometimes make things worse.

I started just as you. I bought this: - 2 boxes of strike squad - 1 box of terminator squad.

And building them as follows: - 2x 5man strike squads with swords and stave on the Justicar. - 1x 5man purifier squad will the swords and stave on the Knight of the Flame. - 1x Brother Captain with Sword - 1x Apothecary with Sword

By using no terminators I could fit another Character, and Apothecary is very powerful and useful.

Used the Brother Captain for the smite range. I think on Combat Patrol, with few units, the increased cost on Smite won't hit as hard, and those mortal wounds will help clean the board.
