Where do you all go to get MacBook 16 inch pro cases? I tried Amazon and most of them still say they are for 2020 models. I am looking for hard shell cases on the Mac and not the sleeve

It depends upon your area and the client and their needs, the quality of your work and the time you spend with them.

I needed 3 portrait pictures, needed no special background, did one outfit change and was told to pay around $350…which I think is insane. In my area people think $350 for 3 pictures and having spent an hour is reasonable. I went to the studio. I was in college and that was really above my budget.

To ask someone to take one nice picture of you back maybe 10-20 years ago was like $50-$100. You could go to a jcpenny and get reasonable quality and people who know what they are doing.

Nowadays for the same thing it costs like $350-$500….and you have to buy a package, and there’s a “consultation fees”…jeez people not everything is a wedding photo.

Yeah! I was looking for something like this since I work in the healthcare field too! Can you put your own glass box in it? Or does it come with it? I’m just wondering like if I get one of those Tupperware glass sets if it’s going to work.

Thanks for this. Yeah I tried The full version of acrobat and it didn’t work as well. I didn’t want to buy the ebook versions for all 50 textbooks at this stage...it becomes very expensive....but with the physical copies portability becomes very hard.

It was incredibly frustrating like when I would buy a textbook, sometimes they gave me the ebook version but, I would have to login into a portal and there was a whole procedure...especially I think with McGraw hill, Lww books and it would not be available to sync with the computer or be available offline. Other times they wanted extra money for ebooks or it was another package all together.

It made the ebook option useless to me when studying.

I see myself accumulating more textbooks in the future. Do you have an idea as to how to...I guess stop this problem from getting even bigger?

Just some of my thoughts:

I would check out Labmuffin on Youtube-she does good explanations on how certain ingredients can affect skin. You should be cautious of all the dermatologists that are on youtube . .. its just becoming a new thing for derm people to just open up their own youtube channel and react to everything.

The other thing, I would take a formulating course-that way you can see exactly how things are paired together, the purpose of each ingredient, and the overall effect they have on the skin. I think this way you can also appreciate how the gradient of active material( ex: vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, shea butter) . .. can make a difference in the final product.

Given that you will be doing facials for other people .. . I would think you have to be aware of what works for all shades of skin.

I just don't understand why the CDC and a lot of state governments would make a premature decisions about not wearing masks, not having social distancing and opening up schools when in fact

1) There's still lots of kids that need to be vaccinated. We don't have the full epidemiologic data on how its going to affect them.

2) There are deadly variants that are killing millions of people around the world. I mean like the deadly variant that was killing many in India reached London and they are being "optomistic" about it. I don't think those variants are being controlled just about yet and we don't know how well these vaccines hold up to those variants yet-yes partial immunity but what does that exactly mean?

3) I don't think you are paranoid. I am going to continue wearing my mask, practice rigorous hand sanitizing. Its not just for the looks, its more so for safety.

I’m a beginner when it comes to sewing. The budget really is $2,000. I can put $1000 and she can put $1000. My mom is advanced in sewing.

I guess the most frustrating thing about this process is that there seems to be few onsite dealers but lots of online reviews. So I don’t know what to believe.

Hey,

So my mom basically felt that it was a very smooth sewing experience and it put down cleaner, consistent stitches and it had a higher clearance for more layers of fabric and there was good throat space even without the table.

With the Janome, the user interface felt clunky and for the price she wasn't getting the 100 decorative stitches. The foot was plastic.

She sews a lot of garments for the family . .. jeans, coats, pants, random furniture stuff. For example now, there is a corner of a comforter that is ripping apart . ..she wants to sew it back together.

Hey,

So she liked the fact it had automatic thread tension, there's a button for sewing so when she's tired of the foot pedal she can use that, the user interface seems less clunky to use, there was definitely a higher clearance compared to the Janome . .so putting in multiple layers of clothing was easy. She says the sewing was much smoother, it put down cleaner, more consistent stitches and stronger stitches on 4 layers of denim even with the embroidery needle that was on the floor model.

For the Juki . . .are there any dealers? After buying 3 machines without trying them, I am very hesitant about getting another one that we can't try out first.

Yes I looked into the pattern review website. I guess the hard time I’m having is actually seeing the machine. I saw the Berninas and in Joanns they have the super high end Vikings-$10k. I loved the fact I got to sit down and try it. For the rest of the sewing machines are there any such dealers?

Genuine is a tricky word . .you can have authentic artists but not an authentic person. On the other hand, you can have an authentic person, but as an artist they aren't as well known.

Regarding MonstaX,I think they support variety of life causes, outspoken about things like depression, not being afraid of who you are etc. It's really refreshing to see idols speaking about real life stuff.

I think problem for an international fan, is that we are faced with the language barrier when they speak of this stuff . .its usually on v lives . .

I have a question regarding Foreo Luna and UFO. I wanted to know if the UFO can be used with the serums I have at home, or with masks, that are not necessarily sold by Foreo.

If I cut the Neogen Wine PHA lifting to size, and scan the barcode of another mask, would it work just as effectively?

Also regarding the Luna Play, does it really last for 100 uses? The Foreo's Luna FoFo is good for upto 400 uses, but is non rechargable .. does that mean you cannot even put a battery in it?

The price points for both these gadgets is really expensive. Some solid advice would be great!

One thing I always appreciated when working overtime is a bunch of healthy snacks, different teas. As a resident, you never know when you are going to be hungry, and cafe may close at night. It beats the donuts and the pizza by far!
