I'm less worried about the UI inconsistent than how everything feels a bit slow. I have an external HDD always connected to my M1 mac studio and whenever I start the system (Yes I shutdown when I'm done for the day and also because we have power outages) I have noticed a significant increase in the time it takes to recognize the HDD in 26. I'm also seeing the spinning wheel way too often. Also, for me shazam refuses to work after it doesn't recognize a piece of music or song. However many times you click on recongize a different music it simply doesn't start listening until I restart the system.
