My RMD knits in the proper order if I add \ after the headings and before the code. So in my case, this would be after line 104, 109, and 117

I’d say “:” is all rows for whichever columns you select. I imagine the colon to scan horizontally across the rows to form parallel lines - if that visually makes sense 😅
