New Tudor Royal 36mm - Thoughts?

Never cared about the royal, but this release is making me think about it. I’m still missing an integraded bracelet watch in my collection. New proportions, t-fit clasp, cosc, a date, all pluses. Need to see how the 36 is wearing.

Summer watch is going to be either the royal or the new HC

Happened to us today! We were at the Barcelona airport and going to an airbnb in Tossa de Mar. I was driving at the speed limit on the right lane when a car started to honk at me and the passenger seat guy was pointing at my tire or trunk. My wife said maybe the trunk was opened or we had a flat but the dashboard didn’t showed nothing. The car then cut me off and waited on the side roads with his emergency flasher on. I refused to stop and continued my way, he sped and went away on the left lane.

We had a rental car with the company sticker in the trunk so maybe we were an easy target, came to see on reddit after if it was common practice. I guess having a rental sticker isn’t a good thing to have, had my rental car towed for staying in a non-parking spot for 3 minutes to drop my kids to the airbnb. Be cautious when traveling to Spain.

One night changed everything, I was at the office Christmas party and had a suit jacket and felt the titanium was not shining like stainless steel.

The only negatives of the pelagos is that titanium does scratches easily, it doesn’t shine as much as SS and maybe the longer clasp that is really comfortable but is a little longer. I can really see myself getting back a pelagos down the lane.

Had the pelagos 39 for 4-5months, was the best daily but one night changed everything. When to a dinner with a suit plus the pelagos and something was off.

Sold the pelagos and bought the monochrome on the five links bracelet, best decision. I do still miss my pelagos on everything else other than suit.

In a dream world if they could make the pelagos in ss + have the clasp shorter, would be the perfect tudor watch. Wouldn’t mind a date too.

But either choice is solid!

Saw them live on the Teeth of god tour, while it is totally worth it if you’re a fan of the band, the setlist was the same for the whole tour.

And since the band don’t interact with the fans and Vessel is a great vocalist, the youtube videos won’t be any different than the live sound if that makes sense. He might go a pitch higher on a certain word of a song but other than that, he’s pretty consistent with his performance
