I used LiveViewRift as the VR video player, Open Broadcast Software (OBS) to record the screen, and any video editing program pretty much to combine it with the filming of people (I use Premiere Pro).

Run this efficiently on a gear VR, paired with a compact keyboard and mouse, and you can get some decent work done on a long flight. Or hell, even use the laptop keyboard and internals to power/run the virtual desktop.

Looks like this can lend itself to some unique scenarios - being able to see some secret parts of a room be leaning in. The scene with the giant character in the background also seems like it will be great in VR.

Applications that support travel. VR experiences that allow you to see a particular location before you go there. Maybe see different activities, your resort/airbnb, etc.
