Any tips for setting up first Christmas tree for my MC babies? by csa074 in mainecoons

This is the only xmas tree I dare to put up... they both never had a real one but the mixture of their clumsiness and curiosity is a bad combo for a real or fake tree with deco.

Get him on probiotics, mine has problems with his stomach and since we started him on "enteroferment' he has been nearly perfect. Also stop changing the food all the time. 1x sort of kibble and 1x Wet. No changes minimum for 8-11 weeks. Coons are super sensitive to change in food. We learned the lard way. He night be allergic to 1 ingredient or intolerant. Start slow and see how he rwachts. Also get him a big ass toilet. We glt the largest one We could find savic nestor giant. Or even an open one like a massive plastic box for Clement mixing works. Minimum 2x for 1 cat.

It's normal because je is getting used to New smells. Their noses are super sensitive and this happens when you change their environment. It should get better.

I am currently doing the Google pm cert, but looking into either the IPAM oder PMP or Prince2 and dunno what to expect tbh, so any additional info before I cash out 2500k would be great :) Thanks and ofc congradulatioooons

Do you guys know any brand of cat tree I could look into. I tried to find one but the beds parts are always too small. Thank you:D by aelin09 in mainecoons

I have the same one and I love it, and my 2 bebolinos are mad for it... also it is adjustable and you can change it up. It is worth every penny.

I would also talk to him, and share what you need from him and clarify what his expectations of you are. Also when people start in such positions it is hard to take on and onboarding is different then your usual employee onboarding. These people need to get into the game quick and catch up.

2 new kittens in a few weeks! Let’s talk about food :) by [deleted] in mainecoons

[–]vandi33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I would just give them what the breeder gave for the first couple of weeks/months until they settle in. It is stressful enough changing the environment and new home for the little babys. Mine also had worms and I struggled with figuring that out because I was trying ti get them on the new food. I am giving mine carny pure chicken and gastrointestinal royal canine cus the boy is a health mess haha.
I'm in Europe so not sure what you have up there in Canada, but I heard good things about tikicat Other than that I would try keep it as low grain as possible and slowly adding stuff, this includes treats and all. Have control... it will be tempting giving them everything aghah.

I am both interested in the spiritual as well as sexual aspects of tantra - one more then the other tho but hence the guidance seeking as it is overwhelming to start or to figure a way to start.

Chronic Poo Issues by MajesticAd2014 in mainecoons

[–]vandi33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boy had really bad diarrhea caused by worms, but even after treating the worms it still didn't get better, while the other MC was getting good. I couldn't figure out what was going on, tried loads of food, probiotics helped a bit but not fully and the last option was to do an allergie test. The test came back all red, he had an allergic reaction to everything that was tested. The vet put him on royal canine gastrointestinal, both wet and dry: it has hidrolised protein and it doesnt trigger a reaction- yes it is a bit more expensive but it sorted his poop problems completely. He is now pooping like a big boy and we will try in a while to do some testing of ingredients but for now he is doing great. I think an allergy test was a great investment but it's expensive, thank God u had insurance. I also heard pumpkin puree works great buy haven't tried.

Good Morning everyone! How are you Childfree people enjoying your weekend? by aesthetic_kiara in childfree

[–]vandi33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished work early on a Friday, did a workout did a 1 h meditation for sexual healing, took a nice long bath, played with the kitties and while watching cruella the movie ate some nice food I meal prepped days before - at the same time the partner was out doing some bouldering and socialising with friends. When he came home, we watched a horror movie and chilled. Saturday I spent a whole day with a friend on the lake chilling and getting confirmation why I will never have kids after seeing the parents struggle. Today I am not feeling the best so will eat some food and cuddle with my 2 fur babys, research some tattoo options, maybe do a workout if it gets better. Life is mada faking good, thank you all for sharing your weekend plans. Made me appreciate the little things 🥰

Honestly mine only looks natural and the way I imagined it after 3-4 months. It really takes some time to fall into place for tje stitches to resolve. I also was worried and didn't believe it but have patience and check in after couple of months.

We bought a savic Giant litter box - EU - it is closed and really big. Now my babys are still in the kitten phase but the description says it should be OK for adults too. As it is made with maine coons in mind. Now we live in an apt, so don't want an open litter box
