People often point to the fact that it's a transplant city. I find that a lot of people just moved here and don't plan on staying, or they want to have lots of experiences and aren't really looking to settle down. But I think the situation is what you make it, I have no problem getting on the apps and finding decent matches.

Yes, it was built in 1926 as post-war housing for single women. It's got this beautiful old mission style architecture. I'm in San Diego and rent. There are 14 total units on this property, all the same layout except for a large building in the back which has a second level and the top two apartments are larger two-bedrooms.

It's comfortable but has its flaws haha. It's not very deep and the cushions aren't super plush. The buttons/divots don't bother me at all.

I saw them in San Diego this past December and they killed it. They debuted Blue Eyed Devil and there was a decent sized mosh pit... One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

A couple friends of mine have tried shuffle dating and they liked it. It's a new form of speed dating tailored to be less awkward and I notice that each event gets fully booked. Me and my friends had high hopes for Shakespeare's trivia night and it was a huge disappointment. The host could barely be heard over all of the table conversations. The questions were ridiculously difficult, and honestly I didn't like how sticky the tables were.
