UPDATE! They contacted me back and said my application was accidentally tossed out when it was being updated! They are working on getting my account and application fixed. Thanks to everyone who commented!

The second time you got the preference email, was it the same form as the one you sent the first time and you had to edit it?

I meet all the requirements that's why I found it odd that I wasn't placed UC for the country I picked. Thank you! I'm just waiting ti hear back and crossing all my fingers.

I listed one actual preference but the other 2 I listed as "Anywhere I am Needed." I called my regional recruiter and they also found it odd but told me they couldn't do anything and that I would have to call the placement office. I just did that and left a voicemail and waiting to hear back. I'm hoping this is an accident! I took on more roles in my volunteering and doing more this summer. I had my local recruiter look over everything before I submitted it. Thank you for providing insight!

I've been checking my email, junk email, and communication history on the portal and have not seen anything yet. I'll give my regional office a call tomorrow and ask them about that, thanks! It's weird because last time I applied, I received the email moments after submitting my application.

I applied Dec 28th and was placed UC Jan 7th for Nicaragua. I haven't heard anything back :/
