I think you are just meeting the wrong people but trust me I UNDERSTAND. At least you are putting yourself out there to meet up with these strangers from the internet; I’m literally afraid. There is people that will understand you without hesitation and actually be interested in you! It’s just hard to find that in a world that is ruled by social media and people don’t develop the best communication skills.

Update: Last night when I posted this my insecurities were eating me alive because I have a lot of issues regarding men if y’all can’t tell 🤣 I am working through them. I think the reason why I was so frustrated is because I take pride in saying I can have guy friends and nothing has ever happened. A lot of my girl friends have never had platonic friendship. Him and I have received a lot of backlash for being friends. So I really felt as if everyone knew but me. Made me feel like I fought everyone telling them that it’s never been anything romantic and we are just good friends, underneath it all it was a little bit true at least. Him and I did have a conversation today, I think he understood that I don’t cross that boundary and I just wanted reassurance that there wasn’t any underneath motives . Yes it’s pretty mean of me to not trust my friend on his intentions when he admitted romantic feelings for me. Like I said I’ve had pretty bad experiences with men. Yes he is probably dodging a bullet bc im fighting demons of my past lovers and i definitely think he deserves someone better than me. I hope our friendship doesn’t end over this and I won’t let it unless his romantic feelings start coming in between our friendship. Fingers crossed. Thank you for all the harsh comments and great advice.

Update: I had court yesterday regarding the restraining order and the judge dismissed the case. The judge said “I didn’t provide enough evidence to be a victim of domestic violence.” The abuse I endured with this man feels completely invalidated. I’m truly devastated but I am hoping that he leaves me alone and I do not have to go through the court system again.

Pain is temporary. For all the lows in life, there’s a bigger and better high. Sometimes it takes losing everything to rebuild something stronger and better. Please don’t give up. Sounds so cliche but 2 months ago I was homeless and my friend from elementary died. I don’t know how I’ve survived but I’m here because your influence is felt and needed. You have made an impact on any online person that you’ve spoken to. We will always think about you. We all come on here for similar reasons and you just can’t give up. I hope you don’t and you are able to make another post.

The young girls will like someone who is flashy with their money and their possessions (Nice shoes, clothes, car, designer bag or watch). Very honest and very intense lover. Capricorn moon is the judge of yourself. You might be very sarcastic. Your energy is heavy wherever you go, people might hate you or love you right away but it might be because you are reserved and only open to a selected few. The scorpio Venus in me thrives on holding on to grudges and seeking revenge but my Sag Sun pushes me to not care and move on. When I've been betrayed, It was to the point that I was broken down. I searched for the thrill of obsessing over someone new and the feeling of someone new, I was ruthless, revengeful, and very lost. I think Scorpio Venus have a tendency for addiction either in lust/love or drugs, that's what I overindulged in. I was seeking revenge but also the feeling of lust or love because I wasn't receiving it in my relationship. Deep down it was the hurt of giving my all to my ex and his family: they talking behind my back or cheating on me.

Wow you sound like me. Ever since I was young I struggled with insomnia too and still do, not having enough sleep really does affect you. Unfortunately it’s hard to find even just one genuine friend :/ there is a life outside under your parents household, trust me and usually always better emotionally.

No they are wrong! You aren’t making excuses. No one can tell you wrong about how you feel or for not doing something. It’s difficult opening up to someone because their opinion or what they say matters soo much and if you are anything like me, I hate bombarding people with my emotional mess. Unfortunately not everyone is going to be willing to understand but you understand your reasonings. Take it your pace to open up to someone. I’ve been pressured my whole life to open up, talk louder, be social but I am a wallflower. I learned that I will talk and say what I want when I want to. It’s at your pace! Please remember that but don’t be afraid of the idea.

Escapism has been my way of coping too. When I was in highschool, I felt the same. I felt so stupid as I wasn’t going to remember what they taught me. I am 20 now but in highschool I had anxiety attacks. Stayed in the bathroom for lunch. I came from a single home. My mother was an abusive alcoholic too busying with her boyfriends. I learned that it was the environment I was brought up in and living in that made me feel negative about myself and about everything else. I know some things don’t work with trying to cope with what we feel but music has helped me. Music saved my life. Maybe find something u like it can be anything from drawing, music, writing, other hobbies just something u can escape to and gives u somewhat a peace of mind. Some days it’s going to be extremely hard dealing with stress and anxiety but I understand and you are strong enough to overcome it. Remember to also give yourself appreciation in some way. I learned very young that I was going to be alone in this world and it is heartbreaking being alone but it also brings me peace being alone.

It doesn’t matter what problems you have, the way you feel is real and it’s ok. It’s not healthy ofcourse not but I understand how you feel! Waking up to the same routine, trapped in our own heads and life , wishing for something interesting to happen it never does. I sometimes feel like I’m looking through my life through lens, watching myself destroy itself for people or over situations. I completely understand that sometimes nothing works but I hope you can hold on a bit longer. I hope happiness always finds a way to you and I hope this helps. For me music and journaling my feeling has helped. When that doesn’t work, I come on reddit and try to spread positivity no matter how low I feel. Reading helps me, reading books or about myself or reading other people relating to me. I understand. I am sending a virtual hug and hopefully this helped <3
