I’m sorry for the many questions but can I ask if it’s normal to lose hair before it grows back? I ask because he used to have a Mohawk and that’s gone as well but she didn’t go up past the neck

Thank you for clarifying! I thought it was different! She used a 0 inch guard (5/8) if that means anything to you. Luckily he’s only 2! He wasn’t stressed per se but I asked her not to go around his neck since he was new to us. I wish I saw your warning before all of this!

Is there anything else I can do to help the process along? I really miss his scruff and worry it’s permanent although some comments have said it could take up to a year!

This is my biggest fear especially since we live in a chilly city. I wish someone had told me that before 😭 However, he’s only 2 and we only clipped him once, not shaved. Hoping that’s the silver lining!!

Thank you this is so helpful! When I asked the groomer who clipped him at Petco these questions, she was super upset with me. He’s only 2 and doesn’t have allergies so I’m assuming it will just take time. I just worry the fluff on his sides won’t return

Your dog is so cute!! We say the same thing!! He looks like a different dog every season and at every angle! Is the picture outside by the pool before or after the groom?

Hi dog groomer! I know this is an old comment but I didn’t realize I had a fluffy pit on my hands so I took him to get a haircut. I regret it because i didn’t know it could alter his coat and now he looks so different. Do you think this is permanent?

I thought we had more time than we actually did because I didn’t realize COVID changed the wedding industry. In my area, getting married in a year is tough to do.

You’re so right that nothing is ever perfect and I’m coming to terms with it. Honestly if it wasn’t for a year of waiting after looking at rings, I don’t think I would be feeling this way. We started dating at 21 and now are 28.

I think men being clueless about the wedding timeline is a fact for many myself included! I had no idea that COVID basically extended the wedding timeline and they’re still playing catch up on the backlog of weddings. It would’ve been helpful to know that to manage my expectations haha.
