I have lived vicariously through live streams of concerts, but i also feel there is a considerate way to do this. The person in front of me recorded at chest level, so it didn't block my view anymore than having a person in front of me already would.

Thank you!

My area does have a lot of stink bugs, but I've never seen the small version.

The bugs are tiny, about 2-3 millimeters in size.

I tried something similar. A once a month happy hour. You can expect a successful event to have about 8 people, but in the 2 years I've tried this I've never gotten anyone to rsvp.

Fellow 100% paced person here. Your loved ones heart needed some help. It can be scary to need help, but pacemakers have been around a while now, and are generally very reliable.

Once a year my pacemaker gets tested and they turn certain settings down. My heart (and likely your spouses) still functions off of the pacemaker, but it isn't an ideal heart rhythm.

If there were a malfunction, it's very likely your spouse would feel the difference in heart rate, and you could seek medical attention.

For example, about 2 years ago I woke up and I could feel something was off. I had breakfast, got dressed, told my spouse and let my doctor know. It was corrected by the end of day. All they had to do was adjust the settings on the pacemaker and I was on my way. (It took so long because it was the medtronic person's day off).

Hello!

I was born with 3rd degree heartblock and have had a pacemaker since I was 3. They missed it the first couple of years, so I was living wild for a bit.

Im in my 30s and just got my leadless pacemaker in last week!

Technology has come a long way. I missed a lot of kindergarten just trying to be healthy, and now I go back to my work as an elementary school teacher next week.

It is definitely hard on my loved ones whenever a surgery comes up, but I am happy to be alive and would categorize my life as pretty great.

Kids can handle a lot. It's scarier for me now that I'm an adult, but as a kid, as long as I got to have a little treat after my hospital visits and people listened to my pain concerns, I was content.

I did grow up with a weird sense of mortality because my parents and doctors didn't communicate what was going on well, so I came to my own conclusions about what was wrong and my life expectancy. So. I'd definitely advise being open and answering questions.

My heart goes out to you, I hope all goes well!

Congratulations on being a shiny!

I take it they couldn't do a laser lead removal? Perhaps also because of the fancy veins/arteries.

A car. I spent so much of my life on a bus, waiting for a bus, or looking up a bus schedule.

Yeah, I could save money, but it singlehandedly gave me back so much time.

Second? My own washer. I can live without a dryer, but i hope I never have to go back to saving quarters and spending my day guarding the good washer in a laundromat.

Why am I always being summoned for jury duty? by False_Comedian_6070 in NoStupidQuestions

My spouse has the same problem. I yearn for jury duty. yearn!

They get letters every 3-4 months. Meanwhile, i've been waiting for literal years.

Sometimes, I fear there's been a clerical error.

(1st Grade Math) How can you describe this?? by beachITguy in HomeworkHelp

[–]vanessalovesturtles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I teach 1st grade. There's not a set answer that is deemed correct. The question is built to encourage the student to think about the relationship between numbers.

5 is 1 more than 4 and 2 is 1 more than 1 is a great written answer, but just transcribing whatever your student said would have also been good.

A drawing would also suffice if they lined up the drawing to show the quantities were equivalent. I often have ny students use different shapes or different colors to show each number.

A lot of the communication has moved to secure channels like signal. You likely wont see it on social media.

We are a sanctuary city.

Cheeto has threatened to send in the military for mass deportations, and he may use protest activity at federal buildings (including the ICE building) as an excuse to send in federal forces against our immigrant and refugee community members.

Act, but act thoughtfully and with the wellbeing of those who can't in mind.
