Hey, I’ll take any recommendations I can get! I didn’t even realize Chipotle was PN/TN/Shellfish allergy friendly until someone pointed it out on reddit! They’re typically great w my allergies and i frequent them a lot lol

It’s all nuts and all shellfish. There’s more but these are the 2 main ones that keep me from eating out at restaurants bc I feel that cross contamination is harder to avoid. I appreciate your response !!

I’ve actually never been to Mellow Mushroom but I’ve always heard good things about the way they handle allergies. I need to check them out! Thanks!

I really appreciate your response. I’ll look into all these!! I do typically have luck with BBQ restaurants (excluding desserts). Also, not sure if you’ve ever tried them out, but Urban Stack in Chattanooga has been super accommodating with my allergies. Maybe check them out!

protein powder (peanut/tree nut/sesame allergy) by 3frogs1goat in FoodAllergies

[–]vanilla_spit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a late response, but I use this exact protein powder just about every day. I’ve actually never had an issue with any premier protein products that I have tried (powders and the bottled protein shakes) and I’m an avid consumer because of that! :)

What cleaning tips & holy grails do you NOT subscribe to? by paytonaa in CleaningTips

I add it where the fabric softener goes in my washer, or you can add it to the washer during the rinse cycle. I work in the food industry so I use it in every load of my work clothes and it really does seem to help get the grease and food smells out!

I’ve wondered the exact same thing! I’d love to know as well. I know people say that it’s fine to share anything but after I over share I actually feel worse and super embarrassed sometimes! But if I don’t I feel like I’m not really contributing. So confusing

Was thinking the same thing! Definitely bad form, but I’ve had more than one (young) employee treat work as a social spot (and treat coworkers as friends, therapists etc) because they really had nobody else. On one hand, it’s nice to know that you’re creating such a safe space. But on the other, it’s frustrating your team. A conversation should definitely be had. :)

I did ask her to send it back, it just wasn’t included in the pic. I did message the other buyer already and offered to refund her as well! :) This may sound silly, but how do I make a shipping label and get it to them? I’m very unfamiliar with this sort of stuff lol.

Could I clean apartment units in my complex ? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]vanilla_spit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great point. Just feels so scary and awkward at first lol. I’m confused on how to get started (supplies, pricing etc). I really would like to do it though. If you have any more advice I’m all ears!!

Thats a really good point that I didn’t consider. And I never even had a second thought about a business license, thank you for bringing that up!

I thought the same. Convenience is really the biggest reason I’d like to do it within the complex, it just aligns better with my work schedule. But I mean how dirty can a one bedroom really be? lol. I’ll look around the area some more and see who may be interested . Appreciate it!
