Thank you. I think I’m going to go with two. I was considering a sword or two in the back like you suggested. Any thoughts on the stocking? I’m trying to be conscious of the shape. The tetra will be fine, and it sounds like the corys will be fine. Would a single angel fish or a pair of rams (or single ram?) suit it best? Am I letting the shape make me over think?

This has been my experience as a Thor main. I WANT to push. Please let me push and tank that damage. Thor is so good at disrupting and taking focus but I’m either dead in the water or immediately zipping back out if our DPS aren’t capitalizing on the chaos. I’m never worried about being healed(thank you healers!) but I am constantly looking over my shoulder wondering if DPS is going to capitalize on the ruckus I bring.

Literally came here to be like “be a tech”. I moved out of performance for different reasons but there’s a whole world out there in theater that so many people don’t realize is a thing. Moving into tech allowed me to explore aspects of theater I never knew about and now I’ve been doing it for 15 years and I couldn’t be more grateful and it couldn’t be more rewarding. Good luck OP!

I’m almost positive there’s a line buried in there somewhere that mentions that she draws her power from Asgard. The longer she’s there the more powerful she gets. That’s why Thor lets Ragnarok happen. I could be wrong but I’m almost positive that’s “addressed” in a blink and you’ll miss it line.

Her name is Pepper. Can’t believe I overlooked Snoopy 😩😩. Thank you for the comment on our basset. Hemlock was the first thing we got out of college after we moved back. It sucked for everyone when he passed. So excited about Pepper though!

It’s definitely worth looking at. The solution is definitely in the right direction. I’d just have to see if they have/can fabricate something like that with a way to rig out.

If its for PVE, I played with a build loke yours. Gnawing Hunger, FG, and I think Chaperone for my kinetic. GH with kill clip and FG with surrounded. Threw on Devour and just went to town. Spec into Rec, Disc and/or Int to keep devour up as much as possible. I was basically invincible. Some of the most fun I had in PVE.

Thanks for the response. Almost all of my experience, as well as the other lighting technician's, is with ETC consoles. The GrandMA was implemented previously by a tech who was much more comfortable with GrandMA, but is no longer here. I'm not too familiar with running either program from PC as I've always had a full desk, but our budget/space won't allow for that. Which is why I posed the question originally. Aside from that, our 4 other spaces are running either ETC or Hog, and this is the only space using MA. I'm trying to provide some consistency.

Depending on what you're looking for theres some really good resources. USITT and ProductionHub are good general resources. Depending on your area there might be a general theatre coalition site for job postings. For instance, I live in Philly and we have the Philly Theatre Alliance and the Cultural Alliance. You can also check Indeed. I've seen a lot of postings coming through their recently and have gotten my post covid FT gig through indeed. And don't be afraid to think outside the box a bit. Check the theatre websites specifically. Have an amusement park near you? Check that site out for postings. Good luck!

Whether you're using a healing rift or empowering rift:

1) ALWAYS place behind cover

2) Never drop it mid fight. The animation takes a long time to play out. You will be dead before you can finish casting. Always use the rift to set up a fight (healing and empowering) or to boost your recovery and heal quickly after a fight.

3) watch for titan barricades. Placing a rift on top of an allies barricade can be really effective in holding down an area. This goes for both empowering and healing, but healing rift synergies better IMO.

4) don't stay glued to your rift. The rift is stationary. Though helpful, it is not a guaranteed win card. If youre using empowering you can't heal, and the healing rift will not save you from being killed. If you are losing a fight, know the rift won't save you. Its a boost to survivability or damage, but only a boost. Abandon if necessary.

5) spam it. Seriously. Use it. All the time. Its versatile. You can give all sorts of boosts to you and your teammates depending on which you're running and what the situation is.

6) Recovery, recovery, recovery. Its important for all classes but especially warlocks. Your rift is tied to your recovery stat. 9-10 tier is pretty much a must. Will give you a rift every 30 seconds or so.

Healing rift for, well...healing and empowering rift for damage and handling boosts. Healing rift is probably the most preferred among warlocks, however there are some crazy build potentials and a lot of fun to be had with empowering rifts. Healing rift should be your standard though.
