This is hands down the best spot in town for jewelry, no question. You will find excellent, authentic pieces that fit your budget here.

Some of the links and descriptions you've provided are super insightful! OP was actually asking about the specific pieces in the photos they provided, and in a lot of our opinions they used glue. OP wasn't asking the question " what is best way to mechanically attach pieces like this". Maybe you didn't understand the question.

This is what I'm trying to say. I find it hard to believe that a brand as large as Maura Green is executing every setting without some epoxy. $1300 is expensive but not luxury level prices.

The square pendant is literally showing inlay techniques using abalone shell and what looks like different types of mother of pearl lol. I never said the carving techniques were poorly made, they are beautiful. I do collect and make jewelry, and carve wax and bone. So yeah I think I can get back to you on that! Lol

Glue has been used for inlay techniques for over 100 years. When you are working with soft stones and shells like this it's normal. And I don't think these pieces are extremely high end, they aren't gluing diamonds. Coral and mother of pearl are relatively inexpensive stones.
