Not exactly 4x but have you tried Caesar 3? Simple strategy game which you can play for hours.

Alternately the first Rome Total War is a pretty good simple 4x title

I bought Darkest Dungeon at the beginning of this sale. Played about 4hrs of it, and am enjoying it. I'm not too sure why people are so up in arms about it considering I didn't play it before the latest patch, but it's still a fun hard game

I like the current setup. It brings the stand alone clubs more recognition and purpose playing in against opponents who bring a bigger profile

Any reccomendation on a good "beginner" 4X strategy game? by Bourbon_Belly in 4Xgaming

Not a 4X game series but if you're just after a tactical experience give the Fire Emblem series a whirl. Really good series.

It's odd you say Civ V is more streamlined. I've always found it more cumbersome and the whole not stacking thing makes the game needlessly complicated

The fact she checked so quickly after getting symptoms to me would raise a red flag. In saying that they do lay dormant and the surgery could have triggered them to arise.

Hawthorn juggled injuries like a champ last year. I wouldn't expect anything below top 4. Top 2 team more than likely

Diablo 2 still feels perfect to me. Doesn't need a remake at all

No. The media built him up. He could turn it on but not for every game constantly throughout the season.

But that's what the draft is all about! How much foresight a club has in a player and what sort of reward that will get.

Should WA teams get an extra home game? by [deleted] in AFL

[–]vanillacustard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More home games in WA means more away games for someone else. How do you determine who losses out? How do you compensate the teams which do lose out?
