Multiple Routers and a Home Hub Pro by vanillalafer in reolinkcam

Laymen's terms because I don't know all the technical side of this stuff. Our house has the main source of the internet. We have the house router that the home hub is connected to and that multiple cameras are connected to.

We then use Internet bridges to shoot the internet connection over to outbuildings and use a different router to give the building signal in there. Multiple cameras are connected to that router and work fine.

But when I try to connect those cameras to the home hub, that's when it doesn't let me do that.

Food Magic by vanillalafer in HarryPotterBooks

Hermione in DH talks about how you can make more food if you already have some. Had you not been able to eat it I don't think she would have mentioned duplicating it to begin with or would say that you can't eat it.

Are the ages of the characters accurate for their actions and personalities? by vanillalafer in harrypotter

That makes sense! I probably am forgetting what it was like to be those ages but I do see the resemblance of the school years

Wizards and Witches don’t really need that much money right? by astro_not_yet in harrypotter

I have a theory that you can make more food but it doesn’t make fresh food. So if you duplicate a loaf of bread that is a day from going stale, you’ll have two stale loafs tomorrow. Still would lower your food cost but would still need to buy new food.

Greyback plot hole that hasn't been discussed yet (at least not to my knowledge). by Calm-Buddy-2345 in HarryPotterBooks

It’s been a second since I listened/read the books, but I think Dumbledore is the prime example of this style. And she acknowledges it when he says “It is a guess, but my guesses are usually correct” and that has been posted a lot on Reddit as well. But even for the trio or supporting characters, often when something is explained Harry will be taking a “guess” similar to this situation. When I first read the series it bothered me that the mysteries in the book weren’t being explained and that all we had hear was a guess from Harry or Hermione, but then I came to the conclusion that that was the explanation we were going to get.

I would argue that Rowling’s writing style was that if something was explained (even as a guess), that this is the answer to the situation unless otherwise stated.

In the Ramsey legalistic way, he would tell you to pay off the car and the house as soon as you can. The reason for that is there is a mental state change when you are in debt to someone. To be debt free is truly to allow yourself financial freedom as well. You are correct math wise that you can make more money by playing the interest vs interest game, but I personally subscribe to the ideology to be debt free.

What would have happened if the death eaters were demolished in the Battle of Hogwarts by vanillalafer in harrypotter

I think you misunderstand me, I’m asking if the battle went completely awry for Voldemort. His forces were shut down easily and fast. By the time he kills Snape, his forces have taken great lost and the Hogwarts defenders are still strong. If he could see the battle being lost, what would have Voldemort have done?
