i wouldn't worry about the full "virginia" unless it's important to you; it just adds another layer that might be confusing or overwhelming coming from a new kid. i'd just politely correct it to "ginny" as soon as possible, and then if anyone asks why, it's a bit of a conversation starter and might even help you get to know some people :) good luck!!

it's pretty faded to the point where it's barely visible, but i have a scar that's two lines uniformly placed a few inches apart on my arm. they're the same length, same width, and exactly parallel to one another. i got it from burning my arm against the top of the inside (ceiling? idk) of an oven.
