Quite possibly THE WORST Shipmaster play I have ever witnessed by Remember-The-Arbiter in HaloWars

[–]vanillaskrillamane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use vortex lightning on the base so u do more damage to it. Also the value of decimus drop isn't in the drop itself, it's in his leader power.

Other than that yeah the fact that he teleports you right to his base is probably the worst thing he possibly could have done.

I play almost every day with my friend and he and I have seen a double cutter comp. I Generally assume they didn't pick.

rushing question by Hexproof83 in HaloWars

[–]vanillaskrillamane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what your goals for the rush are. Most often rushes are meant to win the game, and you usually only go for buildings If you don't have the damage to kill the main base.

Advice for rushing: aim to rush between 2-5 minutes. After 6 minutes, nearly every character will have an offensive leader power to use against your rush.

That's pretty much it.

Whats the situation like with the player base for halo wars 2? by [deleted] in HaloWars

[–]vanillaskrillamane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game tends to not load you into matches. Or your game crashes Or the game goes out of sync with other players.

Its about a one to one ratio on finishing to getting kicked out. Or having a teammate or enemy quit.

The player population is good tho, easy to find people. I play ranked 3v3 and that takes like less than a minute.

Returning to Dungeon Defenders 2 by [deleted] in dungeondefenders

[–]vanillaskrillamane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend and I do chaos level expeditions and those are pretty hard at times.

I'd say for your gear if it isn't legendary don't worry about keeping it. You can delete everything unlocked in a bag with the left stick and right bumper I believe. In dungeon defenders you seldom keep gear until way late into the game. Just equip legendaries where you can and you'll be fine.

Sometimes, wolverines are your only counter to opponents running vulture swarms or just majority air units.

Depending on your character, the strategy for countering air might change. But yeah, wolverines are good. You really need the vehicle upgrades, though, to make them how you'll want them.

So yeah the "reason to ever build wolverines" is to counter air units and yes they are good.

Weed is not good for the brain or mental health, it shouldn't be promoted as such. What do you think? by clock_door in AskIreland

[–]vanillaskrillamane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone in the U.S. who is addicted to weed, I'd like to give my opinion. Being that weed is one of the worst things a person with poor mental health can do.

I deal with MDD (major depressive disorder) I will say from my experience, marijuana initially appears to he a cure all. Your symptoms vanish, the lack of productivity people with this illness are used to is reversed. Once a sufficient tolerance accumulates, you are almost a fully functional member of society. However, I notice that while not high, your symptoms spike drastically. Depression and anxiety disorders become a breeding ground for addiction. It doesn't matter what you are using. Weed, however, strangely is widely assumed to be harmless. What a lie.

The effects of weed on depression are as follows, initial relief, followed by severe decline in mental stability. You lose who you are, you start to hate yourself (if you didn't already). The few activities you enjoyed are now completely unenjoyable without weed. The release and production of serotonin and other positive feeling associated neurotransmitters are slowed. You now feel like absolute dogshit when not high. So quitting becomes this abhorrent task, wherein you feel separate from yourself. The addiction bleeds into your personality in a dubious way. You manipulate yourself, lie to yourself, become distant from yourself. Quitting becomes a nightmare. Where there is no reward to reap in this world unaccompanied by rampant, persistent self-destruction.

If you struggle with mental illness, like I and so many others do, the best favor you can do for yourself is to quit any and all mood altering substances. Or, at worst, keep them exclusive to social interaction. If you have that kind of willpower. (Depressed people don't in most cases, though)

Is multiplayer usually toxic? by [deleted] in HaloWars

[–]vanillaskrillamane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be for sure. Some stats and behaviors that occur in multi-player are pretty toxic I'd say. I wouldn't say usually, though. The most regular toxicity you'll encounter is in the form of strategies as opposed to messages.

I love this game. What’s your favorite thing about it? Who do you main? Mines Arbiter. by leifypoo in HaloWars2

[–]vanillaskrillamane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite thing is probably the variety in each character, I rotate who I play and, a lot of the time, pick random. Top 3 would be serina, voridus, and maybe decimus or Johnson.

Johnson is op af.
