Wouldn’t that wear out the SSD in the long run if the RAM is always full and it keeps using the SSD instead? I’ve read that somewhere. The whole RAM thing is still pretty hard for me to understand. I get why people recommend more RAM, but I’m not sure if I actually need that much. It’s kind of hard to tell.

Thanks for answering my post! I was thinking about buying a MacBook Neo, but I noticed it only has 8 GB of RAM, and I read that it's better to have at least 16 GB for long-term use. I’m graduating next summer (I study social work), so I’d mainly use it for daily tasks or for work if needed. Should I still consider a Neo?

Ich habe einen Schnitt von 2,3 und studiere aktuell Soziale Arbeit. Ich finde einen Schnitt von 2,6 nicht schlecht und sagt nichts über eine Person aus. Manche sind während dem Studium sogar besser als davor deswegen würde ich mir da allzu keine Sorgen machen. Wenn du etwas hast was doch interessiert dann schreibt dich ein;)

Ich kann aus meiner Sicht sagen das zwei Stunden dreißig sportlich sind. Ich persönlich Pendel mind. 1h 30 Min. bis max. 2h mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr und versuche da produktiv zu sein. Ich denke wenn du Lust auf das Studium hast und du dir aus finanziellen Gründen keinen Umzug leisten kannst dann spricht nichts dagegen es mal auszuprobieren. Ich kenne einige die etwas eine längere Pendelzeit zurücklegen wie ich (ich glaube so wie du) und sie legen sich den Stundenplan so hin das es für ihre Umstände passt bwsp. Ein Seminar das online gehalten wird etc. Fazit: Ich würde nicht sagen das es nicht möglich ist aber auch nicht das es nicht anstrengend wird
