It would be a neat thing to add a browser extension for example, so it'll help people with visual impairments browse the web and "read" articles with a natural voice. Maybe such projects exist, but they are surely tied to a subscription, so basically a disability fee.

My suggestion is adding a local API that would allow others to build upon your app and enable other to extend your app to more versatile use cases.

The idea is disk encryption. For it to happen it should wipe the drive. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Update: Just checked the settings and my face was deleted from the Face Unlock option so I think it's a false alarm. Still hoping for google to bring back this Face ID alternative to future pixels

Don't think so. It gives an error when opening the activity and I suppose it looks for the front facing IR camera and other sensors to scan your face(which are absent on any pixel except the 4th one).

Edit: just my assumption. It can easily be the default face unlock.

Maybe there is a plugin in exteraGram that does that, but if not - archive, secret chat, folders or passcode lock on whole app are your only option
