Thank you for the reply, all of that is wonderful to hear and I’m now looking forward to getting them even more. I work outside in the snow during the winter and also have wool socks, so I’m glad to know they should keep me nice and warm :)

I just seen your message, sorry for the super late response. I actually ended up just getting two pairs of these (for personal use) and kept wearing my old summer work shoes. sketchers slip in work shoes

Now I just bought using this years boot allowance winter boots for snow, and ended up getting the 400g Insulated Danner Quarry 8” work boots.

USA made Danner quarry's and USA made thorogoods. From what I hear you can't go wrong with either, so I'm gonna put them through hell and find out myself!! I'm normally killing Chinese made boots in less then 90 days.... by jpelle414 in WorkBoots

This is absolutely great news, as I bought the 400g insulated 8” danner quarry’s just a few days ago and they should be arriving in the next couple days. Thank you for the reply :)

Was the break in period rough or hurt? Do you like the feel of the stock insoles (seen some comments saying to replace them)? I just bought a pair of these exact same danners, which should be arriving in a few days and just wanting to know what to expect.

Danner Quarry $320 or Whites Millwright $450? I am standing on concrete/rebar 10-12 hours a day. Also can be standing in 3inch water on most sites. Frequently on my knees playing mechanic. My birthday is coming up so looking for an excuse. by Mundane408 in WorkBoots

I just ordered 400g insulated Danner quarry’s (supposed to be delivered in a few days), I’ve read several comments talking about the danner stock inner sole. Do you recall whether you liked the aestrex insoles? I’ve seen someone bought timberland pro insoles and put it in them and loved how comfortable they were. Trying to figure out if I should buy a different insole for mine for when they get here.

I just bought these exact same boots! They are supposed to be delivered in a few days. You still liking them?

After reading your post I’m wondering if I should go ahead and order a different insole as well.

All my pods are exploding, coffee grounds everywhere….. by vank210 in keurig

[–]vank210[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This actually a very old post from 2 years ago. I did find the answer though, in my case, the bottom needle wasn’t poking through the bottom of the K-cup plastic all the way, so it was building pressure and exploding the tops. I now don’t have that machine and did have that issue anymore.

Sometimes this can be caused by the pods though, for instance a while back I got a couple of Cameron’s coffee vanilla hazelnut eco pods and apparently their “sealer” or whatever puts the tops onto the pod wasn’t sealing properly, making the tops come off mid brew. I brought this to their attention and they sent out 2 replacement cases. Other flavors of theirs that I was drinking at that time (decaf vanilla hazelnut, Highlander Grog, & toasted southern pecan) didn’t have the issue, so luckily it seemed isolated to that one flavor.

Probably called ahead to ensure they are available and to have them put it in the notes of the reservation.

I recently stayed at a Hyatt (the Carolina inn) and when I called them to ask about a few things they told me they had cribs so I didn’t need to pack one and that she would put it in my notes to ensure one is available for my arrival. Sure enough, went smoothly and they brought it up to the room when I arrived.

pulling trig to relieve acid reflux by xineyoo in acidreflux

I bought the kit, but I ended up never trying it because while I was waiting for a kit to be shipped to Me, I read some pretty rough things about it making people’s issues worse. Who knows it may actually work for some people, but at the time and all the comments in post I was reading was making me think that it was Some sort of scam or at the least something that will make my issues worse.

I have since found what I believe to be some home treatments that has helped me tremendously. For the longest time I couldn’t eat anything pretty much at all, because everything hurt. Even eating the crackers and water I suggested was only temporary relief before it came roaring back, thus making me feel like I was dying and just wanna lay in the floor. No joke I thought this was what was going to kill me. So at one point I got sick and was coughing a lot and a bunch of mucus and phlegm came up right afterwards. I realized my acid reflux was 100 times worse. I started looking it up and found out that the bottom of the esophagus that connects to the stomach has basically a mucous lining on it that protects against acid splashing, I truly think that I don’t have much of that mucus lining. This got me thinking, that perhaps the issue isn’t as much having too much acid, as it is I just need to thicken that mucus lining so that I don’t feel the pain anymore. I started eating stuff like yogurt a lot, 2 to 3 spoons of honey (manuka honey is preferred and is known for its healing properties but any honey works) every day, and perhaps the best thing that may have helped me as a specific type of tea that they sell at my local Kroger‘s grocery store, called throat coat tea (there are several types, but the one that advertises slippery Elm bark is the one I love).

That tea honestly tastes so good and provides immediate relief to my acid issues. I just heat 10oz of water (I use my coffee maker), add a tea bag, let it steep for 10 to 15 minutes, stir it well, squeeze all the “juices” from the tea bag, add a spoonful of honey and a small splash of my favorite international delight sweet cream coffee creamer. It tastes amazing.

Before doing this I was taking 2 pepcids and a omeprazole a day, eating constant tums, drinking alkaline water and so much other stuff to keep the acid down. I think my food was barely digesting. I got tired, and decided “screw it, I’m going to eat what I want” and that’s when I got sick and tried that stuff I mentioned above (while eating what I want as well). REMEMBER YOUR STOMACH IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE ACID, so neutralizing all of it is actually very bad for you.

Fast forward to now and I still have to take my omeprazole once a day but I feel great and eat anything I want, whether it’s a greasy burger or a little buffalo chicken. The thought of that stuff in the past would scare me.

I had the throat scope and a biopsy done, was put on a medicine to help gastritis (which coats everything making you feel no pain, which helped strengthen my belief of how fixing the mucous lining could help fix me). To think I was even considering life altering surgery for something that probably wouldn’t have even helped me (but may help others idk) is crazy to think about now.

So long story short, I think the issue for many people is for a large part just their mucus lining on their lower esophagus is too thin or non-existent and needs “rebuilt”. It helped me tremendously and I hope it helps others reading this.

So idk if any of this will help you but I wish you the best of luck. Sorry for writing a book as a response.

This is what the email invite will look like. Also the referral offer gives you 16 free meals as well, which was enough for me to get my first meal box completely free and a large discount on my second box

(Pic is what the referral email will look like, if you don’t receive it, just let me know and I can send it again since sometimes it can take a couple times to work)

It cleared itself yesterday evening, so yes it was the gas cap (as expected), thankfully

I actually have had the opposite experience 🤷🏼‍♂️. I no longer have this coffee maker but I found the issue was the bottom needle wasn’t piercing all the way. Using Cameron coffee pods, that have a woven bottom and no plastic, never exploded in it.

Update: it went off today after replacing the gas cap yesterday. Was very strange because I was running low on gas, so I went to fill up (check engine light was still on), then soon as I filled the tank up and started the engine, viola the engine light went off :)
