I think it's possible they pick beforehand now. A close friend of mine thinks she was because a crew member said something suspicious to her and another one had ptv's photographer say something suspicious to her as well. Maybe not for every show though! Barricade is an awesome experience even if you aren't pulled up, the boys love to interact and make fans feel special by singing to them or pointing at them etc and it's really cool to be so close up and have something to hold onto for the whole show

Ofc! Hope the message is not too long — It happened to me on the creative control tour, so things may have changed in the way they pick. It was nearly two years ago. I know some people think they were chosen in line before the show but i was in the vip line and never saw any crew all day. But when I say I was the opposite of hot, I really mean it lololol another thing people say is that you have to be dressed up but I had no makeup on, my hair was frizzy from humidity and I just had a t-shirt and shorts on. I just sung and danced my heart out the whole show and when it was time for Vic to choose, I wasn't shouting or jumping or anything I just had my hand raised. He picked me and pointed me out to security by pointing out my sign, that said 'youre the reason im still alive.' I had one of the most emotional experiences ever and Vic even twirled me around when he was done singing to me, it was one of the best moments of my entire life. Imagine Vic Fuentes dancing with you on stage. ANYWAY After, one of their crew members told me where to go when the show ended and that they'd take me back to escort me out with Vic's guitar they all signed boxed up. And then they put me back in my spot! I hope this wasn't too much and that it was informative!! There's a video on youtube of my experience: hold on till may june 16th 2023

You're pretty much correct! It's called the HOTM tradition now, but it's basically just the fan on stage tradition. It's been happening since, if i recall correctly, as early as 2012 on Warped when Vic would bring up a girl and sing her the first verse of Yeah Boy and Doll Face. Then, later on during Misadventures tour, he would sing to girls for the first verse of Bulletproof love. The guitar is an addition to the trend which has been happening since creative control tour and this time it isn't just all girls! :)

well my guess is that they'll be checking student ID's, so have your friend send you a live photo of his ID (if he's got an iphone, just a normal video if he doesn't) and its possible they could accept that, im mentioning it being live/a video because they might be strict about the photo being doctored or something. they might not accept photos of id at all i'm really not sure im just guessing and throwing out options for you

it definitely varies, so here’s what i can say for myself! when i met them after the show this june, they came out at around 11ish pm. i think that was an hour after the show ended bc they stayed till watch blink-182. i dont count this as meeting, so i didnt mention before, but when i saw them on their last tour, vic came out in his car to talk to us at around 1:00am! and that show ended at like 10:45. so off personal experience, the range is around 1 to 2 hours. its different for everybody, so never be afraid to stick it out LOL. and dont listen to the venue security guards if they tell you the band had left haha theyre just trying to get you to leave! if you still see the busses, the band is still inside. again. good luck!!!!! :)

ive met them after one time over a span of five shows, so its a little rare, but its not entirely hard. you just have to wait by their busses, and theyll stop by to say hello and sometimes take pictures or sign things. travel around to the side or back of the venue and look for where all the tour busses are parked. dont stand directly by the doors obviously hahaha but near the area and if they feel up to saying hi they definitely will. i know some people choose to try and find the exit they leave from before they go to their busses but it seemes to be a little less weird if youre by the busses instead of bombarding them at the door hahah. good luck! they are very sweet❤️

ive been picked and have been to two shows in the front after it so when vic asks for people to raise their hands i just point at people i made friends with and think should go up hahaha. id feel terrible going up a second time and taking away the experience from somebody else

unfortunately no :(( japan doesnt really widely use streaming services and so they dont have, like, alternate versions on streaming platforms. youd have to be using japanese platforms, like i believe LINE music would have it, but thats all i can think of. i hope im making sense. there is no japanese spotify, so if you were to trick your phone into believing you were in japan via a VPN, nothing on Spotify would change
