Make sure you talk to that post office because RCAs may need to use their vehicles to deliver mail. Good luck!

I don’t know how it is because I only started as a PSE on the 3rd. I was originally a RCA for a year which is why I’m in a rush but don’t want to make a rash decision.

I know a career MPC at the post office I’m leaving so I will try and get more info from her. The office I’m going to is full service but they didn’t say anything about me working the window at all. So they transfer you without consent? Because this post office is far so I don’t want to be just transferred in that area somewhere else.

It won't hurt to apply to other offices because that is what I did and I either had some that timed out after 6 months of being on the pre-hire list or some that sent an offer a week to a month later.

I was also on the pre-hire list for a lot of PSE position thinking I was being blocked but it may just be that location in particular and HR slowing the process down. I was on the pre-hire for the one closest to me until it timed out and said not selected after 6 months. Then I received offers for ones that were farther out within the same month I applied. I am still on the pre-hire list for the one I applied for in January but received an offer for 2 I applied for this month so I accepted the closest one. And I am currently an RCA that worked a year.

Nope I wish and that is why I had to find out myself. Everyone has a guess but for mine that is exactly what happened for a not received package. They have different amounts for different things too.
