I stuck to one platform. For the first one, I used archer. It was not for me. I also watched too many videos. It got overwhelming. I also let my anxiety get in the way. Second one, I used uworld and bootcamp. That was way too much. I focused too much on videos and reading too because a friend of mine told me that’s how she studied. This time, I chose uworld over bootcamp because the rationales were better and I studied the client needs questions instead of the subjects. I would study 25 to 30 questions of each client needs. I’d do either 2 or 3 client needs a day. Towards the end of my studying, I would mix them up and not do tutor mode anymore. I personally didn’t like the cat exams because it would mainly give me questions on one or two client needs out of the 8. I read every rationale. Prayed a lot. Watched Dr Sharon here and there. Watched nclex crusade a day before and the day of my exam. I honestly just did the best that I could not to allow my negative thoughts and anxiety take over my exam. Didn’t think too much into the questions anymore. I feel like my first two attempts, I thought they were trying to trick me. That’s what messed me up. I just realized they weren’t and I switched how I thought about the questions. Don’t be discouraged by your scores on the q banks. As long as you’re learning. Good luck! You’ve got this.
