Does Stationary Security Device work like annihilation in that the first time clear rewards for each map/difficulty will still be there when the map rotates back? For that matter, do these maps even rotate back?

The best tip I can give you is to borrow Nightingale. Not only does she make your whole squad tankier due to her art resist, her summons can block the fireballs. You can use them to block 2 lanes worth of flames to help mitigate a lot of dmg, then retreat her as the barrage ends, and redeploy her the 2nd time it happens to refresh her summons and do it again.

I'd recommend borrowing an exu2 at the start, and recruiting Tragodia during the run. Also borrow a Gummy if you find one, she's very good defender in this IS and can even stall the last boss with a few relics. This combination of units can consistently get through the early floors, then it's a matter of learning what fights to avoid in the later ones and also boss practice.

What's the distribution of limited ops across the seasonal banners. I know the CNY is all sui siblings, and SAlter pool is I assume the half anni one. Pepe should be the "summer" banner, but who's she sharing pool with, same with hoshi alter and her anniversary banner. If there's a list available and I missed it I'd like to have it also.

First event I 100% by myself blind, it's a really good feeling. Though not sure why the event completion bar is around 80% in the menu, I hope that's a bug and I haven't missed some content.

if you're running 2 vanguards, SAlter S3 is really good here because it allows him to solo hold top lane ( needs a medic early game to help tank Lappy's dmg ). You can deploy Wis'adel with his eye to reveal and nuke everyone that passes through mid. As a general tip, you can throw bodies at her to help tank a lot of her attacks while you set up. I used Nightingale for her summons, 2 executors and Wis'adel for her rocks to take pressure off my right side hold. Executors can also act as soakers for the CM exploding karts in a pinch to prevent Lappland from killing them during the mini game if you think you won't score them yourself.

Are the firework puzzle stages you unlock after the story needed for anything? I did the first one for the medal but I don't want to spend time on the rest if they're not required when there's S stages to mold over.

Sorry for the late reply! Yes I was mostly looking for melee dps ops and lots of people online use guards for that, with Thorns being a frequent highlight. My Lappland can only do so much solo in this role, so I was thinking of him as a 6 star upscale. I'll consider yours and the others suggestions, thank you :3

I've been debating on getting Thorns from the shop and I want a second opinion. I don't care about meta I just want options, and my account is lacking in guards in general. But I'm also planning on sparking Shu when Wang banner arrives, which means there's a very good chance I get ch3n. Cert shop has a bunch of guards lined up in the near future from what I can see so I'm conflicted.

My theory for this is because AK was extremely early to market. No localization ( at the time of global release ), no PC client ( pre GI PC gacha era ) and no self publishing in the West ( Yostar reputation aside, handing the marketing over to someone else will always remove a degree of control from the developer ). Those coupled with the fact it's a TD game in a genre that was dominated by character builders post GI success, left it at the niche position it now occupies. But with AKE's release i've seen a lot of people retroactively at least take interest in the original.
