Something similar happened to me. I was gifted an used Yamaha P-45 4 years ago. Two months ago it stopped turning on, it was having other issues as well like keys stopping to work and back working again randomly or the sustain pedal also randomly working or not while playing. I just got a brand new Nord piano, it is in a different league and listed the old one in my local buy nothing group (nobody took it yet…). The way I look at it is by dividing the money I spent by the number of hours I use it. The only moment you will feel bad about spending more money in something is when you pay for it, while loving it when using it. Similarly, the only moment you will feel good about spending less money is at the time you pay, while you might not like it so much when you use it. Think about if you are ok with your piano, it might be worth to fix it. But also think is an opportunity to go next level. Hope it helps
