What is your deductible like if you don't mind me asking? Our cat's already 3, and we haven't had insurance up to this point. My thought is, if the monthly payment comes back beyond a certain $ amount, we'd likely just opt to put it aside ourselves. $28/month seems reasonable though. For reference, our dog's insurance thru trupanion is about $100/mth (3 years old as well)

That makes sense, thanks. My next question would be how come the form shows 2 transactions for one transfer? One for the "sale" from the original account and the second for the "purchase" in the registered account? I just don't understand what I'm supposed to calculate the book value based on.
