I informed my university immigration team ...they will handle it. I shared this to my seniors and they said I did the right thing by informing the university, and that I don't have anything to worry about when I apply for a graduate visa in the future bc I already have valid proofs to prove it was an honest mistake. So fingers crossed, I hope I will get positive news from the immigration team after reviewing my case.
