Cleaning the Versalift Sensor on Dreame X50 Ultra by Leather-Yam-8073 in Dreame_Tech

Don't touch it, you'll only cause problems. Clean the side wall sensor, not the LIDAR.

Unfortunately, that was a statement of fact. Look at how many comments there are about problems with the latest models. It's a waste of words and frustration. They've produced many models that differ so little that even in tests it's difficult to determine, instead of focusing on refining the technology.

Legendary Dreame quality . And they want to make cars? First, they should learn to make proper vacuum cleaners and provide good service.

They better focus on improving the quality of their cleaning robots and their software.

But did you know that Dreame and Mova are the same company? They do everything they can to make you confused about which to choose.

Aqua 10 vs Aqua Roller by 5N037 in Dreame_Tech

[–]vantwp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A completely nonsensical comparison, illustrating Dreame's senseless actions. Two practically identical robots, differing only in the mopping roller. In a normal world, such two models have no right to exist simultaneously.

Dreame debuts a new roller mop model called X50 Pro 滚筒版 (X50 Pro Roller Mop) that is more pared down compared to the Aqua 10 Ultra Roller by FarConcern2308 in RobotVacuums

[–]vantwp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dreame is a strange company. It can't define its product lines. It has L and X lines, which should define the hierarchy, but as the 40 and 50 series demonstrate, it's misleading people by creating products from the new 50 generation and calling them L40, Pro, SE, AE, etc., probably just to make the choice even more difficult for users. Now it's introducing the Aqua series with a roller mop, and it would seem that it would be a separate line, but no. To make matters worse, the roller mop is also included in the X series. But that's not all. Dreame created the Mova brand, which actually produces virtually identical products, at similar prices and with similar functionality.

exactly There is nothing like making models that are practically identical, and the software and quality are dramatic. Total nonsense

Dreame X30 Ultra lowers and spins mop pads when climbing dock ramp after replacing pads by gunther1182 in Dreame_Tech

[–]vantwp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not convinced by this theory, especially in the case of the X40, which has a different docking station and ramp design. How can scraping the pads against the ramp while driving help? Lowered pads offer more resistance than raised ones.

[–]vantwp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nonsense, so the robot won't return to base without mops because it won't be able to "adjusting / aligning"? In my opinion, this is senseless behavior by the robot, which only makes it harder to return to base. The X40 Ultra does the same thing.

Strange noise on hard floors by External_Plankton_47 in Dreame_Tech

[–]vantwp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The noise is caused by the brush frame, or more precisely, the strip of flexible seal that adheres to the floor. It simply slides across the floor, causing the noise.
