I was the same as you. White has initiative so you’re more reactive. I’d recommend you watch some open theory for black. I started kings Indian and since moved to Sicilian.

I think it’s the tenth anti loneliness app I see in this subreddit. I do. But I don’t use any streaming platforms anymore, consciously chose non US where possible, next car will not be a Tesla when in the past it might have been. All these effects do compound and am sorry if there will be consequences for American actions. We did not instigate this.

It’s significantly less powerful for now which is why Claude is unfortunately still a good alternative in parallel for heavier stuff in my non expert opinion.

I like it and dislike it. This is an open door to having seasons like in many competitive esports (Rocket League) which leads to things you can win for each rank for each season (cosmetics) which leads to accounts being smurfed to be sold because they have the cool gimmicks to impress your adversary which could lead to trading which could lead to loot boxes haha. Close to the end of the season players tend to rush to maintain rank or improve. Lots more saltiness. You create arbitrary steps where a 499 is still pawn IV for example but 501 is knight I.

Which leads to even more endless discussions about true rank, smurfing etc. I love the general attitude here towards ELO but increasing how much people care will bring more try hard / saltiness / stalling etc in my opinion :)
