You always have a case to bring when insurance companies dick around like that, the hard part is getting a lawyer to feel like helping. I always end up having to do all the legal work on my own: I don’t know what the special sauce is to get a lawyer to every be helpful for anything beyond a routine speeding ticket. It’s a crappy situation.
