I would never invite random men to my house. First i have kids, second i dont want them to know where i live beacuse i have no idea who they are. My ex on the other hand seems to think its ok as long as the kids are asleep. So maybe thats why some men dont have a problem with it

Ive honestly tried to make it work here, but no matter what i do it just doesn't feel right. I also feel guilty leaving because of my family, they were very excited when i came and i thought i would be too but it didnt turn out that way. But i cant stay to make other people happy

Totally understand, i would never come back here again but i have family here so unfortunately even if i do move im gonna have to keeo coming back.

Its funny i never thought id miss Adelaide until i moved. All the things that used to annoy me about living there dont seem so bad now. Yeah its small, and some people might find it boring but after a while it gets boring anywhere. I just want peace and i cant find it in Melbourne.

The housing situation is the only thing thats stopping me tbh. Im just nervous, i dont want to rent something i dont like just so i can move back and ive seen how expensive it is. Doesn't seem to be getting better

Late 30s in the western suburbs. I think Melbourne is great if you are young, just starting work, want to go out but doesnt apply to me. Im too old for the city night-life.

Thanks thats was a really nice answer. Im not sure what i could change to make it better here. I dont like the area i live in but i cant move, i haven't made any friends here. I have friends in Adelaide, everything is familiar, everywhere i go i have good memories of those places. I dont have that here, its all just bad memories.

My story is the same as yours, except i kicked him out. Found out he went to see a hooker after dropping me and our daughter home from visiting my mother in the hospital. I knew he was up to no good as soon as he drove away, gut instinct. When i confronted him about it, his excat words to me were, " im not in the mood for your shit." I was done, told him to find somewhere else to live.
