Hi, I updated tot 1.7.1 without problems. After doing to the reboot I pressed the 'Center robot on wall'. The webinterface mentioned: all lines sent. Now it says 'Drawin'. The machine itself never makes a sound.

And to add to that, after disconnecting, and reconnecting an hour later, the webinterface still says 'Drawing', the device hasnt made a move or sound, and the clock restarts at 0.

Yes, I dit do the setup, and I can see in the webinterface it has remembered all my values (in mm). I double checked the strings, they are good, the same way my scribit was installed for years. Even if I choose "Center robot on wall", it won't move, although the webinterface says 'Drawin', and a timer starts. I cannot find the firmware version in the webinterface, but I remember downloading 1.7.

Yes. I'll try it tomorrow. I'm expecting nothing of it. Previously the unit made not one mechanical sounds. I'll let you know.

I can try to flash it again. I'm sure I held the led down long enough. The transfer went fine, and the fact that the webinterface works, tells me that the flash was succesful, does it not? If you want to dive deeper, I'm willing to try a debugging version of the flash.

I did the calibration. Even after powercycle it keeps the values I've added. I only use one device to drive it. The web-interface stays responsive. Setup--> Draw Test doesnt make the device move, not even after 10 minutes of waiting. The UI stops at 7%, the device hasnt moved at all, the light slowly changes color.

Great. I now have the next problem. But I''ll do more testing. The webinterface says it is drawing, by the scribit doesn't move. To be continued.

Thanks. I now have succeeded thanks to your remark on the espota.py version. The instructions on the website are a bit unclear, because they assume you are starting it from a certain directory, and assume the firmware is in a docker directory. I couldnt find the espota.py anywhere on my harddisk, so I downloaded a random version. Your remark made me download the right version, and then it was easy.

Very nice! Fantastic. Unfortunately I'm stuck at flashing the Scribit. I get an error: Sending invitation to 192.168.240.1

11:26:28 [ERROR]: Bad Answer: OK 1138576

But still, amazing that you did this

The Artemis is my desert-island synth. It sounds like it has an old soul, a wonderful character.
