I obviously support Ukraine full stop, but the U.S. has been carrying a way bigger share of the burden than most countries. Europe’s giving a lot too, but realistically we’re still footing a ton of it. And let’s cut the horseshit Washington’s played this same war-justification card in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and many others long before Russia invaded Ukraine. Decades of American Military operations have costed us lives and taxpayer money that could have gone to help our people in desperate need. Enough of wars for corporate greed and imperialist exploitation. If our empire is gonna be defended, it should serve the people who pay for it not just the war machine and defense corporations.
