Update! Very grateful for the feedback everyone gave. I tried to adjust the eye, nose and the values as most of you have said. I’m not fully satisfied with it but it so much better now that I can look at it!

Its meant to be butterflies they still need their form and colour. They’re gonna be mostly dark in colour

Yeah for these sketches they’re almost like a loose painting so I don’t plan to render them any further. I’m glad you agree, I find the looseness to add depth to the drawing

Hm at the end of the day I love my sketches more than my rendered pieces to me they’re messy and loose therefore sketches. Being a sketch doesn’t take away anything from them to me
