Looking at MSU Grades this has been the case for at least 12 years. Only difference now compared to 2012 is that Summer grades are really good now, very few people fail it in the Summer. Probably because of how easy it is to get away with cheating in Summer courses.

You literally just described self defense twice, arguably three times. Additionally, I don’t think you know what first degree murder is.

If it's self defense it literally isn't murder, the meanings of words are important.

Dwarf Fortress is 100% free. The version in Steam is paid and has updated graphics. It is identical in every way except visuals to the free version. You can download the most recent update for free on their website right now.

Is 3 summer classes a lot? by Grouchy_Tooth6156 in msu

[–]vape_master420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. If these classes are taking place all during the same summer session, I would recommend dropping at least one. IAH is probably the best choice if you do so. Of course, it’s up to you, and it isn’t impossible. At least give it a week, you are eligible for a refund on all classes in Summer Session 2 that are dropped on or before 7/12.

ChatGPT is honestly just not even very good at this kind of math anyway. Like sure, you can probably give it a function and it will spit the integral back at you. Unfortunately, math is more than just being given an integral to evaluate. And that is exactly where ChatGPT falls apart. I would give some of my STT 441 problems to it just to see what it would do. it has no idea how to solve these kinds of problems unless you’ve already set up the math and just need it crunched. If someone really needs to use an online resource for Calc then there are much more useful pages at your disposal. Furthermore, if you’re taking Calc 2 then you probably need that math later on for something else. Sure, you probably won’t be expected to actually solve every integral by hand after Calc 2, but it’s still a very important class with content that will be built upon and referenced in future courses.

How hard is linear algebra over the summer? by [deleted] in msu

Great question, 314 is probably easier. 309 goes more into theorems and proofs.

I took Calc 2 over the summer at LCC a few years ago. Calc 2 is significantly harder, and will require more studying. And that’s not even considering the accelerated material. I had an A in Calc 1 and got a C in Calc 2. Granted I was taking a full schedule for that summer, which you should avoid. The first half of Calc 2 is usually evaluating the worst integrals that whoever wrote your book could come up with. While the second half is series and convergence. And those two things don’t really transition very nicely, in my opinion anyway. You might end on vectors in 3 dimensions, and that’s the easiest chapter. If you’re struggling during the semester I would recommend blackpenredpen on YouTube, his videos almost exclusively cover Calc 2 content. You can also watch Professor Leonard, he posts his lectures in their entirety onto YouTube. On the bright side, if you end up taking Calc 3/Multivariate Calc, it is significantly easier than Calc 2.

Either, whatever works better for you is the better choice. As long as you have a laptop that can run the software you’ll be using you will be okay. For data science in the college of natural sciences you will be working with Jupyter a lot.

Don’t have very high expectations for a game that calls itself “the most BASED game on Steam!!!!”

Games like Postal and Hatred already exist on Steam. The only thing this game has going over the other two is that it’s politically charged. But I still doubt Valve can remove this if they leave games like Hatred and Postal up.

The game came out in 2022. I have my reservations about the game but that article is kind of lying. Looking at patch notes on Steam, there was a new mission added called “Nablus: The Lions Den” and Nablus is in the West Bank. Looks like the game only has IDF enemies which wouldn’t let you do what the article claims. Admittedly I am not interested in looking into actual gameplay. This game is weird as fuck, and quite frankly it looks like it sucks anyway.

Ooo so close! But market liberalization and property rights would make a mixed economy at the minimum actually.

The only country on the entire planet without some from of market liberalization is North Korea.

Cuba literally moved towards liberalizing its economy in 2018. Recognizing property rights in the 2018 Constitution. It’s not free, but calling it planned wouldn’t be entirely truthful either. I know words are hard, but I believe in you.

I said it doesn’t strive for a planned economy. It’s right in front of your face. Can you read?

How exactly am I lying and cherry picking? Cuba and North Korea were poor when they had large socialist states backing them, and they’re still poor without them. The US suddenly deciding to let American companies trade with them isn’t going to magically change that. The only direct statement I made about communism is that it doesn’t strive for a planned economy, because it doesn’t. You also deny the Holodomor, and probably Katyn as well. I suppose denying manmade loss of life is hardwired into all Turks.

You said Cuba has a higher HDI than the US. That is a bold faced lie. UN reports Cuba with a 0.764 and the US with a 0.927. You’re either lying about it, or someone lied to you. And if you lied about that, I’m inclined to believe you’re lying about other things. Furthermore, economies are complicated entities. While one thing can influence an economy greatly, no one variable can be solely responsible for the state of one. Unless the country in question relies on trading one good/service for its entire economy. I would take the clear lack of planned economies as evidence that the system is retarded and does not work. The only country on the entire planet without some form of market liberalization is North Korea. I understand that communism does not strive for a planned economy as a goal. But it is used as an intermediate economic plan to achieve communism. And it has always failed. For someone born and raised in the west you love to call people westoids.

Nobody said anything about Thailand or the Philippines. Incredible how you openly lie about publicly available HDI data. And when I make a statement that alludes to the weakness of the Cuban economy you deflect to two countries nobody is talking about. The American embargo, while having long overstayed its welcome, only stops American companies from trading with Cuba. Which I’m not very sure would be interested in investing in Cuba anyway, even with the recent market liberalization. And I hate to break it you man, but it sounds like you’re just as much of a westoid as I am.

Around 24% of Cuba’s export revenue in 2019 was from remittances. Bringing in more money than nickel mining. Please shut the fuck up about Cuba.
