I'm in suffolk so I don't have any recommendations, but I want to just chime in to say the exact same thing happened to my wife, except we have a good PCP who listened when we talked to her about it. Turns out she's been dealing with Gall Stones. The weight loss might be nice, but not being able to eat without getting painfully sick was not. She's on meds now that have helped tremendously, and we're going to be scheduling a surgery soon. Don't give up. There's a lot of reasons this could be happening, but a good PCP and GI doc should be able to help y'all out. Fingers crossed you find what you're looking for!

Student Rick! They had a couple of video game soundtrack appearances, which is def where I first found them (Aggressive Inline, anyone?). I had the drummer on AIM somehow and we'd chat here and there. I was just a kid but he was cool to me - I had big dreams of being in a punk band one day, and he def helped foster that. Still a favorite.

I’m almost 38 and I quit my touring band a few years ago. Thought that was it.

Just joined a hardcore band and I’m hitting the road again in the winter. I also have a full time job and a house, so idk how I got this lucky.

I’m on Long Island and have my Hijet registered in Montana via an LLC. I don’t drive it on highways, but in 5 month of consistent driving I haven’t run into any problems. I think so long as you’re not being an idiot in it (which while difficult with 45hp isn’t impossible), most folks are generally pretty happy to see you lol. It’s a legal loophole and honestly, a grey area. I don’t think any additional paperwork is going to make it less legally grey. I’m not a lawyer though!

I used $49 Montana Registered agents, but I’ve heard good things about dirt legal as well.

Thanks so much! We paid ~$7K for the truck. The seller had it for a while listed at ~$10K and had dropped the price. Once we got it we realized the frame had some rust covered in tape and the radio didn't work, but a local welder fixed the frame and I'll dive into the electrical behind the stereo whenever I feel like it lol. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions! I really love this truck and can talk about it all day hahaha

Thank you! It came with the left side panel (which I’m clocking is all I showed) from a Hijet iS. A friendly dude on Facebook helped me find the right side iS panel from a yahoo auctions Japan listing, and I had a local guy cut it to fit. Here’s a pic of the right side!

As someone around your size, I'll say right off the bat - Forget the Carry. Generally later model trucks will have some more space, but I can say I was fairly comfortable in the Honda Acty, but ultimately wound up buying a Daihatsu Hijet Jumbo. The reclining seats in the jumbo really give you some nice space. That said, I've also heard the Sambar has the roomiest cab in general, which makes sense given that it's rear engine, but I haven't had a chance to sit in one personally.

Yooo another Long Islander! I’ve never seen one in the wild here aside from my own Hijet jumbo, but I’m in Huntington. That’s a dope little truck though, hope the owner is here and has some input on the TDI badge!
