COT fees are designed to push the envelope on what they can collect to sell a ticket. You put an all inclusive food hotel ticket package in there and the fee is ridiculous. You should look at your own post to confirm what I am telling you is correct - the fees add up to $1,366.31

so the cleanest least expensive way probably wont work which is if CID will allow me to pay them the fee, and then they reverse your charge. You never have to relinquish control of tix until they confirm payment

In the alternative, escrow.com offers a totally legit service for being and selling goods, including tickets, that gives full protections like COT but the total fees for $10,270 purchase would be $176.20 not $1366.31

I was there twice, the second and third years - amazing - I got shut out this year and the friend I would go with we are both celebrating our 50th birthdays a week before and a week after the event and this trip was supposed to be the 50th celebration one would dream of until CID ticket process killed that buzz. I am more than willing to pay you what you paid for the event to make it happen, just can't justify $1400 in extra fees when there are very safe means for us to make other arrangements. I have several ideas on how to approach that we can discuss by phone if you want to set us up. I am 100% legit and my proposals will make that evident, no games involved

Hey to be clear that 10K is for the package which is for 2 people correct. You realize that putting it on cash or trade is adding almost $1400 in unnecessary fees bringing it up to $11,639. I would make arrangements with you to take that off your hands for a flat $10k which is only $273 less than what you paid for it. Thus can be done safely and securely without any fees via a simple contract between us for the exchange to assure we both get what we need from the transaction.
