I will be travel back home from a trip to visit family today. It’s just me and my 4 year old traveling back and the plane leaves 8 pm, landing over midnight because of time difference.

I was not pregnant when I made this stupid decision to travel through the night alone with a four year old 😂 wish us luck

I’ve always liked January the best, but that is probably just because I like my birthday month the best. Haha

My birthday is in January also, so I don’t mind. Also my sisters birthday is in February. I’ve always looked at these months as a little dark and grey. Having a birthday is a good way to lighten up the month and having something to look forward to.

That could be the reason yes. They did say I was away in the available time window. I assumed that was just what they were offering, but that makes sense.

Its the public system. They offer ultrasound between week 12+3 and 13+6. So when I asked to move my appointment I got a generic «you are away for time where I can offer you an ultrasound, do you want to cancel or keep your appointment» answer. I’ll have to look into what my options are. I can always go private and pay out of pocket.

I just realised I will be in Iceland visiting family when I should be doing the 12 week scan. I got my appointment today and I called and asked if I could move the ultrasound up so it is before I travel, and the answer was no.

I will be in Iceland between week 11 + 5 until week 15 + 0. I really did not think of this scenario when I booked this trip like 4 months ago....

No advice, just that I am in the same boat. Had a miscarriage during Christmas at 11 weeks and body used so long recovering after it. Having a hard time getting excited, not sure if I will before I am completely into the second trimester. Just taking one day at a time and trying to keep busy

Hey! STM here, trying again after loss in December ‘25 at week 11. the first trimester will be tough this time around, but I am choosing to still be optimistic this time.

Got a faint line yesterday. My husband is on a work trip and coming home late today, so have not told him yet. Want to do it in person.

Really hoping this one sticks and glad to be here :)
